Where are you Tiger Army ??

As someone that's been watching games exclusively on TV for the last 20 years or so, it's not that bad and you certainly get used to it. What you do miss is seeing what's happening where the ball isn't. How the team and moving, who is gut running, how the transition works. The very few times I've watching a live match the focus was always what was happening away from the ball.

The other downside is when you offer a competing point in some debate, there's always some feral who will come out and tell you that you have no idea because you weren't there.

Have a look at the flags when Tigers score a goal. 1 of the flags is not yellow and black. if RFC is allowing non yellow and black flags...Where is the Indigenous flag? or any other community RFC supports?, only representing one community and no others is showing favoritism. I have nothing against any of the communities RFC supports and happy we are all yellow and black fans

We're not the first club to have a Pride Flag in the cheer squad, nor will we be the last. Quite frankly, if you have such an adverse reaction to it then I'd say that flag was aimed at you.

Yeah I believe there were no trains on the Hurstbridge line yesterday?

There were trains apparently but they were doing some work and the trains were running express from Collingwood to Parliament, so, not stopping at Jolimont. Bit of a mess given how many people get to the MCG that way.

I know when my train isn't running (Sandringham line) I can catch the 246 bus, but it is a lot slower. Train is fantastic, 16 or so minutes to Richmond.

What the? So you want to punsih the club and team because you ain't happy about someone in the cheer squad holding up the pride flag?
Richmond sponsors the mid summa festival. The club also supports indigenous communities (i have seen the aboriginal flag at Dreamtime games). Im not sure what you're asking for you want the club to represent every community in the cheer squad? Is that correct?

You should contact the club and sit down with them to where they can help. You should also bring a flag to the game to spread awareness to this community you feel strongly about.
I have contacted the club, there response was like yours, useless. I have no issues with the club supporting any community events. I'm happy we have a diverse culture. I asked them where is the indigenous flag? Where is the Ukraine support? What about the Muslim community? I go to the footy to support the yellow and black... Not sure why we need to bring politics and favourism into the cheer squad but I'm happy if you want these different flags at games... My choice I'm not going any more.

it will be my last game I attend this year, very disappointed by RFC only representing 1 community in the tigers cheers squad. I thought we where all Yellow and Black? I love how RFC support all the different communities off field but only having 1 of these communities represented in the cheers squad is favoritism, either have others communities also represented or only 1 united yellow and black
Have a lie down mate.

Do the club direct the cheersquad to make certain flags / banners? If not, I fail to see how they could respond. Your issue would appear to be with the cheersquad itself rather than the club. Saying you'll no longer go on this basis is a bit like saying you wouldn't date Miranda Kerr because she has a poor dress sense.

On one hand you say you’re happy for the club to support communities but When it happens you won’t go to the footy anymore. Ok…..

The Woke flag wasn't represented because it was cancelled.

Great day at the footy yesterday.
Home games are far more appealing than away matches now.
3.30pm on a Sunday is an ordinary timeslot. Always has been. Got another one next week..

If the AFL are gonna persist with Thursday night games, then I’d like to see them dump a Sunday game. I'm not going next week unless St Kilda put on a cheap ticket special like they sometimes do. Away game on a Sunday… can’t be arsed.

Lol, you are making a mountain out of a mole. The thing is I don't care if someone brings a pride flag or an indigenous etc Im not the fun police.
I go to games to watch the team who I have followed all my life., and don't allow minuscule things to stop me from going. You seem easily triggered.

Just buy GA ($27 ADULT ) and proceed to level 3 where the view is still very good. I'll be there with bells on to support the boys and maddies match.

Got the 246 bus along Punt Road from Elwood.
Gave myself an extra half hour to arrive earlier and avoid gridlock.
Bus driver was kind, he stopped as I ran for it.
Other words, he gave me an extra 15 minutes, bus was empty.
After the game, I wait for crowds to disperse, met Damien and Tim L briefly, said hi.
My brother hosted Damien in NY on a visit.
I was involved with a punch up with Plugger and a few of his crew in the Criterion pub in the Rat many years ago.

Still don’t know what a digital membership looks like or how to view it. Is it picture of the card that is usually sent out ?

The club would've sent out many emails regarding this? Have you not read them? or are you not receiving their emails?

Shouldn’t have been any excuse yesterday
Sun out , awesome day
Home game and only 28,000
Considering that the GWS probably had 2000
MCC 4000
AFL members 4000
Club wouldn’t be happy at all
Maybe people are content in staying home and watching on Kayo or 7 Mate ?
With winter approaching, situation will get worse it seems

GWS in 2017 PF sold 1500 tickets to their members and you think GWS had 2K yesterday.
GWS bring around 3-5K at their own home games with oppo fans bringing several thousand., meaning big Vic clubs and big interstate clubs

They had about 50 people, I was there only the cheer squad looked like it had about 30-40 behind the goals at the city end.
I didn't see 1 GWS supporter walking around the southern stand. But as stated they seemed to be behind the goals/city end.

You do realise that we have many MCC members who are Richmond members and for AFL members which we have about 6K they are all Richmond members included in the rewards program and added to the official membership tally.

29K is a pass, especially since we brought all the support. Compare this to some other games in Melb.

As I mentioned pies played on sat prime time and got 36K with crows bringing 3-5K of support.
Ess v lions 30K, Lions bring 5-7K, bombers 22-23K
Dogs V blues 35K combined, what's the break up 19K to 16K for each team as it was a dogs home game.

The 2000k there I assuming there were neutral supporters who attend , which is the norm for games apparently
