Where are you Tiger Army ??

Kiss my Ass AFL the people are speaking.
*666 rule
*Stand rule
*Deliberate rule
*Too close rule
*No bumping
*The stupid kick in rule, from the fken goal square.
*The sliding rule.
It's not football so make it to be. It's hard nearly impossible to watch, especially if your team isn't involved in the game..the
Games are more chess then physical football. The contests are dead.
So AFL stop BLaming winter, just wait for August/ September when the sun reappears, what's the excuse we are going to get then. Too bright too Hot??
The AFL has it head in the sand.
Till a Real AFL person takes over and removes these bullshiit rules. The game is dying a slow death.
Get ready for 1 crowd over 50k every 4 weeks.
25k the normal, some clubs not going well under 10k.
The AFL has caused this, it's never too late to fix it.
Just bring back real football.
Hit the nail on the head Zig. Yeah we need some one with balls to get rid of these game shaming rules but that will not happen as they will select another political correct wuss. Got me stumped why the Clubs Presidents dont say enough is enough but then they are mostly blue rinse.

I know Lol Norf have to get some exposure so Turdsday night would be the slot for them at Marvel , Cairns & Darwin.

Think of the uproar about fuel prices at the moment........

Indeed - it will increase approx 20c in a few months time (assume global prices are stable)

So let's call petrol $2.20 a litre

For a liquid that needs to be discovered, extracted, transported, refined, transported, sold......................

BUT - in lala AFL land we have a corporate malaise that thinks its okay to charge $5 for 375ml of water!

Yep water!!!!

Basic maths says that $12+ a litre!!!!

Don't get me started on $10 a schooner of beer!!

Or the $55 (MCC Visitor pass) cost to take a mate.

'smile' you AFL!

I have my Foxtel ($56 per month) on a ten year old 60inch plasma ........... washed down with a case of beer at approx $2 a can

Tap water is free and the kids can fill up on pies from the oven (approx $1.50 each!)

Not even sure my MCC membership is worth it anymore........... Luckily they've already come out and said the subscription for next year will be reduced 20%

The MCC seems to be listening to the feedback. Shame the AFL doesn't.
Interesting point you make on the MCC membership maybe not being worth it anymore ...

I'm a gold AFL member which took a long time to get, and I was wondering the same recently. I used to go to many neutral games - but lockdowns changed me in that I'd much rather just watch on TV now. It just becomes such an unnecessary expense these days to go and watch two teams I don't follow. Drink my own grog at home, eat my own food, swear as loud as I want, switch the game off when I want. Plus petrol prices being astronomically high. I still go and watch my own team but I rarely attend as a neutral now.

Literally the only reason I'm keeping my gold AFL membership is for the guaranteed GF ticket each year, otherwise the AFL could shove it.

Swearing? MRP for you.

Living in Albury you have to pick games that suit with work & my sons footy on a Sunday.

To many Thursday night games & the twilight Sat arvo games make it hard as well as unless I want to be getting home around 11.30pm, which I have done before but getting up early to then take the young fella to footy which playing in the O & M can take you to Yarrawonga or Corowa etc.

More 2pm Sat arvo's would suit as can either come down Friday night or make it an up & back trip in one day.

As much as we both love the Tigers he isn't missing his footy on a Sunday (He is in the Giants youth academy)
