Where are you Tiger Army ??

There are caps in WA.
Like I said before they're Victoria 12-18 mths behind.
It's unbelievable WC cop Covid cases every day but Freo nothing.
The problem with Covid is after getting it your still got lingering issues. Your not 100%. Going to the footy is pushed aside

Must say, sitting in the sun today was bloody hot, not dissimilar to the game against Sydney last year. Certainly uncomfortable at the Punt Rd end in the blazing sun. Wouldn't have helped the crowd numbers.

DS
Got there early. Sat in the sun for 20 mins behind the goals and then decided to move to Level 4 Olympic Stand for the shade. I would say heat and possibly covid caution significantly reduced the numbers.

It was perfect conditions for footy.
They provided a complimentary collectors t-shirt.
I prefer day games, not great on night footy, better playing conditions.
Don't like the logistics of commuting at night.
Have a better opportunity to meet players after the game, it is more relaxed and natural.

I don’t know why people are so surprised. We are living in a post-COVID world where people are still hesitant about going to events where there are large crowds. It will take 5-10 years before we get back to 2019 numbers.

I nearly didn't go yesterday because of the heat and train line disruption but found another train line that was unimpeded, glad I was there but catching trains and buses puts people off esp if they have kids

Went yesterday and it was so quiet at different times (pretty ordinary game and GWS oppo.) that it felt like like a local footy game. Only noise was when Tigers kicked a goal or calling ‘ball.’

I reckon the biggest ‘Tiger’ crowd factor was an expected loss. Add in Sunday arvo and the ‘franchise’ opposition then TV becomes the easy option.

Was a beautiful day for it. Took less than 2 mins to get into the ground.

Great day at the footy yesterday.
Home games are far more appealing than away matches now.
3.30pm on a Sunday is an ordinary timeslot. Always has been. Got another one next week..

We have some massive games (home) v Melbourne Anzac eve (Sunday night) and Dreamtime that I would expect 75,000+ Covid hesitancy is still there, digital membership not making many friends either. Cant really go by our 1 home game, 3:20 Sunday v GWS as a indicator just yet.

Still 50000 cases in Victoria only they you add family contact to that and the number would be up around 200000 in isolatio.
Covid will be playing a bigger part than most people give it credit for.

it will be my last game I attend this year, very disappointed by RFC only representing 1 community in the tigers cheers squad. I thought we where all Yellow and Black? I love how RFC support all the different communities off field but only having 1 of these communities represented in the cheers squad is favoritism, either have others communities also represented or only 1 united yellow and black

Yeah, my daughter comes in from the North and she had train disruptions. Hopefully these disruptions are temporary but it does put people off.

Yeah I believe there were no trains on the Hurstbridge line yesterday?

Have a look at the flags when Tigers score a goal. 1 of the flags is not yellow and black. if RFC is allowing non yellow and black flags...Where is the Indigenous flag? or any other community RFC supports?, only representing one community and no others is showing favoritism. I have nothing against any of the communities RFC supports and happy we are all yellow and black fans

Personally, life post-lockdowns is incredibly busy. Kids are a couple of years older and sport/activity is taking up a lot of time. Any free time we are trying to get out of Melbourne. I have already been to London-Miami and two trips to Perth in the past 6 weeks.

I am not sure when I will see my first game. I am still yet to watch a tigers game on TV this season.

Sorry mate, I don’t know what this ONE flag is that you’re referring to?

What the? So you want to punsih the club and team because you ain't happy about someone in the cheer squad holding up the pride flag?
Richmond sponsors the mid summa festival. The club also supports indigenous communities (i have seen the aboriginal flag at Dreamtime games). Im not sure what you're asking for you want the club to represent every community in the cheer squad? Is that correct?

You should contact the club and sit down with them to where they can help. You should also bring a flag to the game to spread awareness to this community you feel strongly about.
