When has it even been hinted that we rushed him back this year?
No hints needed,he was played too early now his 2010 is all but over

Add Foley to our medical dept casualties

We have the shortest injury list in the AFL currently, is that because of our medical department too?

Re: Nathan Foley - Update?

A little off topic but Foley was the only non-attendee last night at the Cocktail Party (apart from Cousins of course)...

Heard a bloke speaking in the dunnies who reckons Foley is GC bound for an early pick...doubt that's the case and obviously don't know the bloke who said this but thought I'd throw it out there regardless...

Interesting. I've heard that a couple of times too but just thought it was crap (with good reason too because it was on BF). Also, Foley doesn't seem like the type to turn his back on the club for money.

Re: Nathan Foley - Update?

I wouldn't lose a second's thought about that scenario eventuating at this stage.

These things happen, its not an exact science. Get him right now for next year. He's an important player for our future.

Too right, would have an enviable midfield with Foley topping it off.

Whats that got to do with the Foley situation?

Dan Jackson stated categorically that Foley will be with Tigers next year when on SEN today.

Do you have any actual knowledge at all that this was caused by playing him when we did, because my interpretation is that he was going to struggle regardless.

Where did you get your interpretation from?

A source l can't reveal

Thats fine, all I want to know is that you actually got the information from somewhere other than here or the press.

Re: Nathan Foley - Update?

Jackson also stated that we would hear something from the club re Foley soon.

I assume that means putting him on the long term injury list.

Good news though not sure whyJacko feels the need to comment on list decisions.
I think these types of comments should be left for others to make the call on who's staying and who's not.
Not that I am in any way suggesting Axe shouldn't be.

Harford asked him if Foley was going to the Gold Coast.

Still don't think it's for him to comment although obviously a fellow player is not going to say 'Yes I think he's signed with them' or 'I think he's going to be cut'.

It was a bit more innocent than that. A caller asked if rumours were true that he had signed with GC and he said he's pretty close with Axle and wouldn't let him go anywhere.
