When will Bernie go !!

The only way Hardwick will ever coach the Tigers to a premiership is if he were to have a premiership list at his disposal.
The Tigers are far away from having a premiership list.

Bombers dominating the Eagles, and they are putting the foot on the throat, not putting the cue in the rack.

Yep, so far look to be dealing with the Weagles more fiercely than we could.

Note: the really under-rated Matt Dea, continuing to hold his place in their team, managed to kick his first AFL goal. [If it was Houli, Hunt, Morris or Batchelor playing for us; would have missed you can bet!]

Hey does anyone remember the mantra for weeks 1 -5 which was ditched in the Adelaide game?
Yeah Hardwick didn't like it and wanted an arm wrestle.

It's been downhill ever since.

People haven't realised but that was when we got the full handbrake applied.

Yep. You got this part absolutely perfectly right.

Should also make sure you remember to include the players when you're having a lash at how bad the admin, recruiters n coaches are though tea bag.

It wasn't Dimma or the admin who missed all those simple set shots yesterday. Nor did they miss tackles or forget to structure up properly in the dying moments of the last two games that allowed the opposition to waltz through to victory. Those failures to execute the standard basic skills of the game remain squarely on the players.

You realise failing to structure up properly is also a ciaching issue.

If the drill and process isn't ingrained enough in the players that falls and Dimmer and his team.

didn't say ours aren't remarkeable. I love ours

What are you trying to say then?

Leysy would suggest any team having this many guns of 4 is quite remarkable.

Obviously you do too if you wouldn't swap them for any other club.

Yet through a combination or coaching (mainly) recruiting and dump football we are p!ssing any chance of success throughout there careers up against the wall year after year.

We never fail to miss an opportunity

Do you not find this incredibly frustrating that we'll likely be posting on here in 5 years time how great Rance, Chimp, Jack and Dusty were and how we would love to draft someone of their ilk.

Snake wants us all to have perspective, LD.

I mean, we're 5-4 positive win-loss and everything is hunky dory.

if only we could ignore the fact we've lost the last four in less than glorious circumstances and there are mixed messages in selection, structures and tactics.

so true Aces, good point.

dimma gives the players their heads in first quarters then sh!t himself when we skip out to a lead.

he doesn't believe in going for broke, in stomping the throat.

he is more comfortable with a scrap. when the oppo changes things up, even when we're five goals up, he will try to counter it instead of re-inforcing what was working in the first place.

he has no nose for maintaining leads. he gets played by his opposite number almost every time.

he is a conservative, reactive coach and that has no place in the football of 2017.

I have my doubts even with a premiership list Dimmer would find away to lose

Not if the players are so busy partying and celebrating their last gasp match winning goal before the final siren sounds and allow the opposition to simply waltz through the field n finish the job properly.
Nothing the coach can do if the players are last minute *smile* wits two weeks in a row.

Our last quarter against Freo was sensational. We were still nearly two goals down with just over two minutes to go.

Some supporter you are.

TM is correct. Over-celebration of BEllis goal to take the lead, failed to set up properly for remaining 21 secs. A complete debacle; we excel at high-5s though.

Yep, almost all of our last qtr was sensational. All bar the all important last twenty seconds. Pity our first three qtrs were bloody abysmal or we could have won the game by ten goals or more instead of hoping n praying for a hallelujah last qtr to try n win.

Thought our first qtr against the Crow baits was pretty sensational also, pity that it was only one qtr instead of two or three, won't get all outrageous n insist we should be able to play four solid qtrs with our premiership quality list. That'd just be greedy.

Bloody sad trying to be a Richmond supporter when you see us start a game like we did first qtr against GWS and you spend the rest of the game watching n waiting for the inevitable steam roller of self incompetence to run over us once again.

I'll be at the G next week supporting the team again, but dreading the outcome as I seriously doubt the teams ability to play four solid qtrs of footy.

Whether it's all his fault or not, it's time. He just can't continue as head coach for much longer.

I hope the club has their coach short list updated.

Contract's up end of this season isn't it? Or is it next?

Next year, then they'll extend because they're so happy with the progress he's made. I'm expecting life tenure to be announced

I'd say there's a fair chance he will go if we miss finals from here.

We actually setup exactly as we were trained to.

As per Chimp interview straight after game. Don't blame the players.
