Everything's good guys. Dimma is proud of the boys. He's very proud. High fives and back pats all round. Fun and giggles at training boys. We're learning and growing.

what is your point? Or are you just having a sook?

I think 2013 was not far off. Probably not 14 and 15.

I think Hardwick is great at squeezing performances out. I just don't think he's got the coaching polish required of a premiership coach
Fair enough

Why doesn't he 'walk away' like he said then?

Why? They're all learning and growing. They're all proud of each other. Massive effort to lose to the flag favourite when your 31 points up and they have half their team out injured. We should all be proud.

And so is you nose Harry.

The Hardwick years at Richmond Football club has not been a success & the writing on the wall indicates it never will be with Hardwick in charge. The Board has to do something now & change the culture it endures under Hardwick. If RFC do not pick up the cudgels & move him on now they are irresponsible in their duties to the Tiger Army. Pay Hardwick out now .

He's a quality coach that Dimma.

Dimma is coaching well this year. Forget the past, this is now sh!t.

The positive is that the players are showing they are competitive against virtually any opponent.

Now whether Dimma strangles them with his pessimistic and cautious personality or with defensive instructions is immaterial. We lose the same way each year probably going back to 2012.

I think the players will rebound. They almost always have.

They just deserve a better and less anxiety inducing coach.

I am actually quite mellow ATM. I'll keep following our boys the way I always have. However obsessing about something over which i have not control. Ie Hardwick is a poor coach and is apparanetly made of teflon is unhealthy.

I think Rosy is on to something. I am going Zen. If the board and the uber loyal dont mind a listing ship and a drunken captain so be it.

Go the mighty Costa Concordia in dreamtime!

Pfft. You are the white ant master.

If this bloke had any fortitude, he should step away now. What list build as he completed over the last 8 years??
He has cut more corners then the getaway driver from the great bookie robbery

So according to you we should keep hardwick coz we may not find anyone better?

That's like saying getting rid all the duds that flood our list can't ever be replaced.
It's *smile*.
Hardwick needs to go

Pretty solid result for the club today I would've thought. Just need Essendon to beat us and we might even be making progress toward the clean slate everyone at Punt Road needs. Perhaps even with finals still possible.

Yeah but we'll then be 5-5. Most would have taken it before the season started. Dimma doing a great job

bulldust, you need 4 guns to be thereabouts, we are thereabouts.

Danger, Selwood, Hawkins

Walker, Sloane, Betts, Lynch, Talia, Cameron

Cameron, Kelly, Davis, Scully, Patton, Ward, Green, plus a heap

Kennedy, Gaff, Priddis, Mcgovern

Franklin, Parker, Hannebury, Kennedy, Heeney

4 guns isn't remarkable. In current, everyday terms let alone 30 years. It is for us, which is why so many, including you, are losing it.

OK Snake, if that is the case as you say.

Please list which teams of the above you would swap our top 4 with.

Should be easy considering ours arent remarkable.

Cheers.

players execute the basics ie kick set shots from gettable positions and we don't question the coach. Yet they miss what they should kick and Hardwick is a dud.

This is on the players. Again. But it doesn't fit the narrative.

And they were playing sh!t and we were 5 goals in front just before 3/4 time. 3 weeks in a row we have lost games we should have won. They just do not know how to get over the line. It just keeps happening; the same as it was 5 years ago. This club just keeps inventing new ways to lose.

But as rubbish as Hardwick is the leaders need to take their share of the heat as well. Jack Riewoldt FFS. 2nd quarter 15 metres out dead in front hits the post. For a player of his calibre that is just criminal.

We lost the game ourselves with pathetic kicking for goal. You are right mentioning Jack. As much as he is a star forward, his kicking for goal isn't as good as people think it is. He misses alot of gettable shots that he should kick, especially someone of his talent. Lids was the same too. You could nearly count on Lids missing shots at goal (he used to mainly hook them), yet he was such a good field kick. Jack often kicks the harder shots he's not expected to kick but misses far too many shots that he shouldn't miss. He has been a little better this year than the previous few years but again tonight missed a sitter. Dusty's miss was just woeful also for someone of his calibre.

folks don't seem to get it. Dimma has had eight years.

whatever the state of the list, his message is stale.

I had been a member 23 years. Refused to join again when he was extended and won't join until he is sacked. If 10k others did the same as me we'd be rid of the stuffen dud by now

Hardwick must go along with the list manager and recruiting gurus. Clearly the list isn't good enough and the big names we recruited aren't either. The list is shallow and has far too many dribblers that aren't up to senior football.
