When will Bernie go !!

As serious as you were on the match day thread when you said there's no doubt the pies were going to beat us?

did I say that? as the day wore on yesterday the more negative I felt about our chances.

after 7 years has dimma suddenly changed his style of play and thinking. eg last year he said tackling was not our style of play, when asked why our tackles were the lowest over the previous few years.
has he now initiated and set up this tackling forward pressure style......me thinks not.

the assistants are the ones who have transformed us into how we are and play now.......gotta be them.

If you think Dimma hasn't changed our style of play in 7 years you haven't been paying attention.

Ian4 isn't happy unless he's being negative. I don't understand why, and I couldn't live that way but seems to be the way he has always been posting here from my experience anyway.

Some just can't help themselves ants.
Two from Two to start the season yet they can't manage anything better than hanging around carping n moaning as if they were on deaths row. Maybe keepa would be happier if he'd followed Lids to GWS.

I dont think its a coincidence the forward line clicked into gear post-griffens.

I cant see any real reason why Dusty shouldnt play 75% Full Forward

I reckon hes the answer to our forward line structural woes.

In the first half, our i50's were like the tigers of old. Bomb it high and hope. They killed us waltzing out.

Dusty was barely there in the first half.

I the 2nd half, they either looked for Dusty, or the another bloke who had space cause Dusty and his opponent were parked in the square.

A few of posted years ago, when we were rebounding and then propping cause there was noone to kick to, why not park someone i50 and leave 'em there?

it wasnt rocket surgery.

Jeez, I just Dimma-bashed without even meaning to.
I think the reason why it changed after Griffo went off was because Collingwood had too many talls in their backline and Buckley refrained from putting one of them in his misfiring forward line. Griffo was actually starting to clunk a few and showed signs (again) of what we need him to be. Gutted for him that he went off again.

We will lose by 40 points plus. Should be over already

stop being so negative dude!!!

yeah I do recall saying that at half time, and it was true. they should have been at least 4 extra goals up at that stage.

Keep it real people. Seems some on here are first time Richmond supporters.

Port sitting pretty on top of the ladder atm.
Shortlisted for the RFC senior coaching gig.
Overlooked in favour of Bertie.
Strange decision that.

yeah, plus North were sitting pretty this time last year. we should have grabbed Scott :p

The start to the season has been buoyant against sides expected to finish toward the bottom of the table. Ive enjoyed our bright start as much as anyone.
Big picture..this year we surely have to win a final at the very least for him to stay on as senior coach.
Damien already holds the unwelcome record of being the longest standing coach not to win one.
The club needs to rise above expectations of mediocrity. This is a good list with some great players on it, need to capitalise before they are gone..
