When will Bernie go !!

Tigaman said:
To all those who do not know who Bernie is , it is Damien Patrick Hardwick.

Thanks Tigaman.

I was completely confused and when tigersnake started talking about D&D, I thought it was just a thread on the wrong board about the guy who runs that gamer shop in collingwood.

I think his name is Bernie, or something, and the business has been for sale for ages.

Big test for Bernie this week. Will have to make some moves from the box. Not a massive strong suit :hihi

The Dungeon Master has rolled the dice. Behold! Bernie has cast magic missile and it has slayed the scum and the filth. He aint going anywhere.

I love it when magic missile gets cast.

I really hope we sprinkle some juice of invisibility on Priddis, and our mids wear the goggles of all-seeing, cause im so sick of the umps giving him frees and votes.

Thought Blake and Leppa handle all that stuff now.

so Blake and Leppa have penetrated the box and Dimma has taken a seat in the back?

I'll get my hat :theyareontome

I think it was a big test last week to stop the Pies midfield from winning clearances and chopping us up through the middle. Caracella certainly earnt his pay and the way our midfield got back to saturate the defence, particularly when we turned the ball over mid/forward was a big tick really. Hardwick outcoached Buckley after Griff went off by putting Dusty up forward against Reid & Howe where he made the difference in the end.
This week we will have to tackle their mids hard & effectively and then beat them with outside speed. F50 entries will be crucial because if we can pick them apart and stop McGovern from intercept marking we will win and handsomely. Dusty will destroy Wellingham & co.

McQualter is the stoppage coach, so you should probably credit him for our clearance dominance. Or Chimp.

The problem for Hardwick is that the very thing he prides himself on - preparing systems that eliminate the need for him to be reactive on gameday - has been taken away from him.

So if he's not looking after systems and structures, and hopeless on gameday, what the *smile* is he there for?

Most expensive assistant coach ever.

Cara and Leppa are essentially auditioning for the job. Balme probably saw straight through Hardwick in a flash. See his comments in the age article this morning. Damning.

Good old Bernie. The coach who knew too little.

Baron, how's is that Disney script coming along?

Pure genius should be recognised.

I await with baited breath Baron the launch date.

Best Sellers are few and far between.

I'll organise tickets for the rest of the board.

What's the title likely to be ?

Sooner or later I get one right?

One Coockoo flew over the coach box?

How many knives can one coach take?

The coach slayer?

Doesn't matter, I'm there.

"That's certainly been a good step in the right direction," said football manager Neil Balme. "We want players to take the game on, that's not saying: 'Don't kick short or don't kick to a free player', but it manifests itself when you're hard at the footy."

Amazing how seemingly innocuous comments about the Tigers playing a welcomed more hard-at-it style are really incontrovertible evidence for a Leppa/Caracella celebrity death-match contest for the position of the dead man at the back of the coaches box. It's a just a shame us poor simple folk can't see it, but at least we have the planet-sized brain of the Baron to point us in the right direction.

I am prepared to accept that there is some football content in this post, but why all the anger, Antman?

Why not stick to the footy stuff?

Actually scratch that, I already know why. Carry on.
