Hmm, which way to go?
Baron Samedi said:me, and ... well, pretty much any premiership coach.
give it up Tobes, you've got very little idea on this.
still shaking my head that grant thomas is anyone's idea of coaching excellence :hihi

I would put little to no fail in a word he uttered
toby64 said:Still shaking my head that you think you know more about the game and what makes a good coach than Grant Thomas!
Actually no I'm not. It doesn't surprise me at all.
Anyways, its grand final week. More important things to focus on than the coaching merits of Grant Thomas vs Baron Samedi.

Got that rightantman said:Forget about Grant Thomas.
Dimma's peers voted him the best coach in the league this season and they know more about coaching than all of PRE's geniuses put together.

we should be debating whether to extend his contract by 4 or 6 years. imagine the confidence boost if we did it before Saturday.

Sadly, as always you're looking for one person to blame for any and all faults and failings when it's always has been and always will be about the sum total of the collective. Read n try to comprehend the Marchfly article n you may one day finally understand.Baron Samedi said:I am a realist. I don't for a second think that this grand final appearance is purely down to the assistants and Balmey.
Dimma has had a very good year.
What concerns me, and what many don't understand, is that it wasn't instinctive.
He was facing the sack and the club told him things needed to change.
This year, Hardwick by his own admission has been humbled.
Say we win on Saturday. *smile*ing fantastic - that's what we're all here for.
I want more flags. A dynasty.
The foundation hasn't been built by the head coach. It's been built for him.
To me, that isn't ideal. If Hardwick's instincts aren't suited to today's game, what is he there for?
What we are seeing this year is a very good list finally being allowed to play.
Forgive me, but I take a very dim view on the head coach taking eight years to "learn" a thing or two.
Win or lose, I have reservations and I stand by them.
Plenty of other things to enjoy - an incredible list sprinkled with stars and quirky characters, a massive supporter base, home ground advantage.
We can win on Saturday and it'll be glorious.

Why?
According to Tobes, he comes straight from the Grant Thomas school of excellence :hihi :hihi :hihi
Good enough for me.
Later Tobes :cutelaugh
