When will Bernie go !!

Nice try, but the rebuild is down the track if we can't develop fresh KPPs.

Our midfield is looking much better than it did early in the season.

The list is looking damn good Tobes, much better than you think.

Why don't you climb outta that hole and admit defeat?

Acknowledged not long ago Carts that the list is better than those top 4 list years of 2013-2016 which I argued against, though it still has some holes. As the year has worn on I have come around.

But at this stage it hasn't achieved anything more than those lists did. September will tell a tale about their ability to handle real pressure.

Isn't a year a long time in footy? Earlier this year you wanted us to lose to Carlton because we had no hope of success with Dimma in charge and called for a rebuild....now we are top 4! And you want me to admit defeat? :hihi

Yep, it's mostly a psychological thing with Geelong.

They ain't that good. We can definitely beat them.

In fact, at the G we should beat them.
agree.

The Darksider squad in this thread definitely needs a new gameplan and probably a full list rebuild.

We've already got a new game plan, the one some on here were asking for.

Amazing that we finished 3rd with duds like broad lambert ellis butler mcintosh astbury townsend who some wanted delisted last year.

Amazing how duds can turn into decent players with a good game plan. Hail whoever owns this new game plan we desperately needed.

Remember some saying our list aint too bad but our game plan sucked. Well what do you know.

Most of footy world currently see us behind Adelaide, Geelong, Sydney and possibly GWS. I think thats about right.

If we beat Geelong then our chances and rating will increase substantially.

Massive game for our club. (Obviously)

I reckon we can beat Geelong. I'm pretty confident. Owned them for 3 Q last game at the G before they rolled the dice and we Lennoned ourselves in the foot, and we had not much to play for and they had everything. last loss at KP, its weird and I think I'm in a small minority, but that loss didn't really phase me, I felt Ok about it. We played average footy, didn't get a bounce our way all day, missed sodas, got reamed by the umps, Caddy went down, crowd behind them, Geelong didn't play that great but the feeling I got was they were on, I know they had Selwood and Hawkins out, but still. We can take them.

Yep, the list has been top four capable since 2013.

But no, it's all Dimma :hihi

Their recent finals record aint great either....think I read won 2 of their last 9 or something like that. They will feel the pressure too next Friday.

No, I wasn't too phased about the KP loss either.

The only thing that worried me about that game, and that potentially worries me for the upcoming final was the way Bernie clung to the the losing strategy of keeping Rance on Taylor. It was fairly obvious as early as the 2nd quarter that Rance was having a rare stinker and Taylor a rare dominant forward game.

Bernie has been good this year in regards to being dynamic during the game and changing things up when plan A isnt working, but I thought that whole Rance thing was the stubborn Bernie of previous years.

As you are suggesting. the teams are pretty even. More than probably any other game this year, It's going to come down to who wins the coaching battle and as Baron suggests wether we've go over our psychological demons.

Yeah you're right snake. Even though there's been alot of commentary about our much improved game plan, it's had nothing to do with the improvement in our duds.

Still waiting for the list bashers to explain the career-best form of Astbury, Vlastuin, Grigg, Ellis, etc.

Not to mention the return of Cotch and the Dusty supernova just as we release the handbrake on ball transition.

The cheer squad on here really knows very little about football. They cheer very well though and they're good for atmosphere at the ground.

he's right Snake.

I reckon snakes right leysy.

pretty much anything the misery crew have said from spring '16 - up to and including round 23, has been wrong.

some blokes have been louder and more self assured in their delivery of vast volumes of inverse information, but the core crew all have to accept they got it pretty darn wrong.
