I think Dimma's future is tied in a way to Dusty. If Dusty goes it is probably to late to attract any big name recruits for next year. We would have to bank the extra cash, front load some contracts and then go hard for season 2019. I don't think we could make finals without Dusty.

The club would then have to decide do we commit to a further two or three years after 2018 which would push Dimma out to the 11 or 12 year mark. That is a lot for a coach who hasn't won a premiership. If we win the flag this year though Dusty can take the money and run and Dimma will go down as a Tiger immortal.
 
Jeepers, he's taken us to 2 points off top of the ladder, has a young team that is committed and has bought in to what he and the coaches are selling them, and this thread has crickets in it!

I still don't know how we lost just 7 games for the year, when apparently we lost about 15 at the selection table!

Well done Dimma and the coaches.

Obviously he took over the wheel in the 3rd term 8-
 
The jury is still out as they should be on Hardwick. 15 wins only equals what we have done in the past. Finishing third is a pass, but comes about only because of the lack of dominant teams this season. Last year we would have finished 7th.

The record books will always state that in 2017 RFC finished the home-and-away competition in third position.
Whichever way one wants to slice and dice the season, the Tigers have been without doubt bloody mighty this season.
Far exceeded my expectations ... and I have loved all of it.
This season for the Tigers is different.
Everything is possible from this moment on.
I am a believer.

Man what's wrong with u.... we are 3rd into a qualifying final, we dropped 3 games frrom our hands....we are the dominate team

3rd and had we won just one of those last minute brainfade games we would have been clear 1st
