When will Bernie go !!

One reason we haven't given up leads and lost close games since the Sydney game is because the handbrake is well and truly off.

I can think of other games like Port where we kept attacking for the whole game, even though the result was not a blowout. This is why many of our recent wins are in the 16-30 point range.

The Freo result was great, but put the margin mostly down to Freo checking out early with a youngish side. This often happens end of season in games that are junk time for one of the sides, as I said before the game.

Forget about 100 point wins dude, I'd say 50 point wins are almost as rare under Hardwick. Especially since 2013.

and Jimbob, apparently.

the Handbrake is very real. Thank goodness we have Leppcella to release it.

There were 2 changes in the coaches box yesterday. The handbrake was released and McRae was back in Melb. Coincidence?

The 100 point win was due to no handbrake and Freo being cooked. Mostly the latter.

Good move by Balmey to actually sit Bernie on the handbrake this weekend

Agree.
Good to see you have your feet firmly on the ground, Antman.
Now we have to get over the Saints, which is no gimme.
I hope all at Punt Road don't start drinking their own bathwater, again.

Frockers played a fairly similar game to what we played late last year, had a crack for a qtr n then couldn't get down to the pub quick enough. Frockers are early into a rebuild n had nothing to play for yet were still able to make us look fairly shabby when they were trying.

Come finals time the oppo will be bloody good teams trying flat out all game long. Hoping we win a final or three but won't be holding my breath, could just as easily get nailed in straight sets.

Good footage of the weekend coach's box. Relieved to see Caracella has the wheel

ah yes. so many fell for it leading up to the Geelong game. But the Geelong game was different because they were playing for the same prize and the game was at their venue. This week we're at home and hopefully St Kilda is out of the running by the time our game starts. Doesn't mean we should be cocky of course.

So after this weekends win and a Top 4 spot locked in, I think the Beavis Bus will be overcrowded. Might need to turn it into a Beavis B-Double

No, still empty.

Two finals wins might get a few on board.

Betw3n the whole coaching group they have come up with a new system of playing. I know that Hardwick recruited speed from 3 #years ago and that Recruiting is now paying off. Not as bad as some would have us believe.

Dearth of talls and Grigg playing ruck. Glad it is not as bad as I believe :)

Quite amazing we are challenging for top four given how terrible things are :)

4th vindicates the list management ? I think not, Footscray pinched a flag not sure that will happen again all that often
