Um..stick to losing?
I must be having a bad day.
12 over bogey at the first, fine after that.
Various ex patients at the supermarket, wine, chocolate, nostalgia, Beatles, 1980, and no one home at PRE.
Still, my posts are going up. That's what matters.
Does not matter that Richmond continues to be second rate and good losers.
My children will see them succeed one day.

After countless years of the handbrake regime, I think I have finally nailed the game plan:
1) Focus energies on trying to build an early lead playing attacking, direct football
2) As a lead is established, Start to abandon everything that was working, and start playing negative game saving football, kicking sideways and retain possession
3) When the opposition makes adjustments do absolutely nothing about it, and continue to let the lead being chipped away
4) Hold on for dear life.

I'm confused as to wether they were instructed to play a different way in the second half, or wether it was just a perfect storm of poor decisions, skill, goal kicking and a drop in intensity. (Small list I know)
If the debacle we witnessed in terms of playing style was orchestrated then I feel ripped off as a supporter, and would not be a fan of it as a player either.

Well Hardwick has put me at ease now. We had too many teenagers in the side on the weekend and so the result was not to be unexpected. But guess what, Dimma said they will learn from this. So all good.
He also praised the new coaches for bringing a more defensive game plan to the club. I guess we must have been too attacking last season. He hid it well I'll give him that. All that stop start footy, going backwards, sideways and around in circles was the perfect camouflage for the devil may care, break neck, balls to wall attacking footy we were actually playing.
Hmm... I wonder if Dimma has been buying his medication from Dusty this season :hihi
