When will Bernie go !!

Coach of the year?

Spare me.

Was Reid in camouflage? Did nothing to man him up nor did he do anything different to change the tide.

Deer in headlights.

Took 1 half to suck in the hype. :hihi

It comes back to his whole defensive mind set. He rarely coaches to extend a lead, only to protect them. No matter how often the result proves to him that it isn't sustainable he simpky can't alter it long term.

While I agree with everyone else that the handbrake was deployed in the second half, i believe it was because the side was too small. They completely stuffed up selection this week

Same team as we had last two games. U play a small team u lead and pass move the ball quicj. Don't give Hardwick excuses he can't coach no matter what side is playing!!

I wish these dumshit journos asked him more on how he uses the forward line rather than asking useless 'going through the motions' questions.

At least Bernie can say if we won all our close losses we'd be on top sitting at 11-1

Doofus Should've just left at qtr time. Because he replicated the Footscray and GWS loss.
Instead of a 10+ goal win. It was stack the backline and go slow after a 5 goal lead.
And go out and trade for a marking footballer

Good old Bernie. Never missing an opportunity to miss an opportunity. That was Handbrake Hardwick at his finest today. 5 goals up, handbrake on. Saw it from midway through 2nd quarter.

What hope have we got with a coach that admits to a gameplan where we will never win by 10 goals. Why the hell not? What's wrong with pressing home an advantage and putting the opposition to the sword?

Nah, let's just back off and give the opposition a sniff. This is the attitude that has led to 3 of our 4 close losses this year.

disagree. We didn't back off, we actually did the opposite IMO. I would have liked a bit more conservatism when we got that 6 goal lead and they lifted, they are back in form IMO, we kept taking the game on and taking unnecessary risks. Anyway. what do I know?

on the other close games, also disagree. each game different but none due to backing off. Each of the previous 3 due to us playing poorly or being beaten by a better side.

If you consider the sideway and backward kicks, as well as not being daring to run at the Swans defence taking the game on, then you are spot on.
