When will Bernie go !!

Been getting plenty of positive press lately Dimma.

Hes the flavour of the month it seems.

im in 2 minds about our, and Hardwicks, performance this year.
obviously it is a huge improvement on last year. both in style and results.
but reality is we are back where we were in 2015. so far we havent shown we are a better side than then, and probably cant show that until Sept.

Yep. September beckons.

Life is not fair sometimes. You get lauded as AA midyear coach and then another coach goes past you in the winning percentage column. Let's hope Carlton doesn't get a run on and confine our bloke to bottom 3. On the plus side I think he has Fagan comfortably covered (at the moment).

Coach Games Wins Losses Draws Win %
1 Don Pyke 36 26 10 0 72.2%
2 Chris Scott 154 110 43 1 71.4%
3 John Longmire 160 106 52 2 66.2%
4 Luke Beveridge 60 39 21 0 65.0%
5 Adam Simpson 82 52 29 1 63.4%
6 Alastair Clarkson 295 184 110 1 62.4%
7 Ross Lyon 252 153 94 5 60.7%
8 Ken Hinkley 104 57 47 0 54.8%
9 Leon Cameron 80 43 37 0 53.8%
10 Brad Scott 168 89 79 0 53.0%
11 Nathan Buckley 126 66 60 0 52.4%

I feel for Clarko.

4 time premiership coach, and you have Adam Simpson, coach of the flat track bully Eagles consigning you to 6th.

And then Ken Hinkley who has been lauded as a top 4 coach is clinging to 8th with Leon Cameron looking to knock him out of the top 8.

Yep life isn't fair sometimes.

How can you sack a Coach of the Year? :hihi

What happened to Don Pyke? I reckon he's the leader for COTY.

Bomber Thompson won a flag in his 7th year as coach.
His win loss for the first six years was 48.1%.
It don't mean Jack, but interesting all the same.

I think every journalist at the moment is arguing that we are significantly better and playing a sustainable brand of footy than we were in 2015

no, its only the journo from the local Penrith rag who knows the ins and outs of a ducks arse when it comes to knowledge of footy ;D

i think most thought we were playing a sustainable brand of footy on 2015 when we beat the Dockers, Hawks and Swans. the footy we were playing in '15 has been forgotten on the back of a terrible finals performance, and probably rightly so.
last year was a disaster but i always thought we were a chance to return to levels of 2013-15 this year. the challenge really should be to go at least 1 but more likely 2 weeks better.

If Neil Balme isn't now questioning Hardwick's match day nous he is fair dinkum kidding himself.

We get a lead, then try to defend it.

It's the Hardwick way and one day, one watershed day, the club will see that our superstars deserve better.

Just get of this prick now for *smile* sake. How much more of this dipshit do we need to put up with

Coach of the year?

Spare me.

Was Reid in camouflage? Did nothing to man him up nor did he do anything different to change the tide.

Deer in headlights.
