When will Bernie go !!

My son was having a mineral water with a current starting 22 player on the weekend.

He said Dimma's going great. Very much in charge, very much consistent, positive message that the players are 100% behind.

still, he only works for him. what would he know?

plus its third hand.

so, he could have said that Dimmas got the handbrake on and leppacella are on leave having workplace bullying nervous breakdowns?

The player is obviously towing the company line easy.

I would much rather believe a handful of PRE posters who have no inside knowledge but post as if they do with an axe to grind against Dimma.

no doubt.

Apparently he went a bit overboard with the Dimma-love, and said that Dimmas postgame against GWS was essentially the same as against Melbourne.

there a pretty thick four walls it seems.

I find this quite believable actually; it's consistent with his whole demeanour this year and the quite honest extended interview on SEN recently. He accepts we had to bring in a lot of young, untried players which he alluded to in late 2016 too, and has exercised tight self-control to keep positive, encouraging them at all times. No ripping into them either privately and never publicly for errors and failures apparently. He has learnt from prior experiences and no doubt benefited from sound advice from others that this is the only way to go. You will get more rapid improvement from the youngsters with positive reinforcement than negative personal attacks, especially this generation.

That advice could well be coming from the likes of Leppa, who learnt some tough lessons at the Lions, Caracella and Balme. I admire how Hardwick has carried himself both over 2016 and this year, not even lashing out at the dumpires despite severe provocation. Unlike that spoilt brat Dawks coach.

yeah, weve hijacked the thread with cheap sarcasm Leon.

I'm a believer.

admittedly, my resolve has been tested, but i'm a believer.

Seems like we are following the essence of this famous quote...

Recently, I was asked if I was going to fire an employee who made a mistake that cost the company $600,000. No, I replied, I just spent $600,000 training him. Why would I want somebody to hire his experience? Thomas J. Watson

Given what I've heard and read from Cotchin and Hardwick this year then sticking fat may end up being a master stroke if we can get the rest of the playing jigsaw puzzle pieces solved and have some injury luck....

Good post Leon.

Admired Dimma's admission of past mistakes and errors. Would think the events of last yr has had a galvanising effect on the playing group. In a topsy turvy yr as this one I think it's fair to say the anything is possible.

Heard opposite info early in the year. A player told a mate the game plan is all Caracella. Didn't post it here as it was 3rd hand info.

I heard the opposite of what you heard from a close relative of a Tiger player.

What does it all mean? I would hazard a guess that it means that the players are individuals and not everyone has the same opinion on the people around them.

What a surprise !!

Sounds like a normal workplace to me

I heard that if we lose Morris and Hunt he is going to Brisbane and we are into Fagan big time.
