Welcome to the Tiggers - Daniel Butler

lets imagine he kills it in the VFL over the next 2 weeks and demands to be selected for the Prelim. who does he replace?

I dont say this lightly,

But i reckon geezer suddenly finds hes a depth player.

higlet rocketted up the order last night

And georgey consolidated too

And that is saying something. A quality player is Butler. Be sad to see him biding his time in the twos. Any prospect of him becoming more of a goal kicking midfielder?

Also makes you wonder where to for Bolton and Stengle.

He's not playing tomorrow is he?

Also don’t know about him being depth. Very clever around goals while providing pressure. He’ll be back. I expect Higgins and Rioli to push further up the ground in 2019. Rioli played on the wing against the Suns and had 26 touches.

Barring injury I reckon there’s 23 players in the discussion for a game unless butler really lights up the vfl prelim.

The club has already stated he wont be playing at the weekend but will be training instead. My guess they want him back but he still needs some work. The problem is, just who would he replace in yesterday's team?

Felt sorry for him watching the boys sing the song last night, he looked shattered, unlikely he gets back but who knows what other injuries may happen

Hope that teaches him a lesson on getting injured

Higgins hinted if butler comes in it would be for him in the post match interview on Fox ,

Not so sure about that jack.

Hard to see butler getting back
Unless there’s an injury or the only person that might be in trouble is Broad and I would say Ellis would come in for him

Agree NZ .
Higgins far more valuable to us than Butler as he can play midfield as well as up forward.

In: Butler
maybe out: Houli (Higgins to play in Houlis position)
Ridiculous. Higgins hasn't played Houli's role all year, preliminary finals aren't the time to start learning voluntarily.
If Butler comes in, it's definitely for Higgins.

Butler was a chance if we got done last night now i doubt it.

He would only replace Higgins and its not going to happen now.

I dont really see any changes, you dont change a winning QF side into a prelim.

Ellis only chance lies with Higgins, or Conca missing, thats not going to happen.

Butler has missed too much footy now.
