Welcome to the Tiggers - Daniel Butler

Syndismosis injuries are a pain in the arse Buts wont be back at his best for a few weeks yet.

As long as hes good to go for the QF week 1 with some gametime under his belt we hope.

theres a good chance that with higlet and geezer in the same forward line, that there will be

a double soccer goal, or something even more preposterous soon

Next time I'd love to see Higgins again behind the goal post but this time tapping the ball down (so nobody could call it a throw) towards Butlers feet and he scores the winning goal with a rabona (it ain't rude - google it if you're not sure)

Edit: actually better still - Higgins heads it down to Butlers feet

Not matter what combination you choose, the best goal from Butler was during the 3rd quarter in the first game against carlton. Running at hard pace with an opposition player on his tail, he picks up the ball at the start of 50 m near the boundary line runs towards the goals, with his left foot kicks, the ball does a 45 degrees arch and sails through the middle of the goals waist high. IT WAS SIMPLY MAGNIFICANT!

like that. how about a Buts rabona (didnt want to spoil it with google), onto a Higlets header, to a jack tap over, to a $hai behind the back handball, Georgy GOAL.

It’s what Selwood had right , was out for 1/2 a season from memory and average on his return

The word is he'll be out for another couple. Would think he's right up against it to get back in the side.

Unfortunately agree with this. If he misses the Dogs game, I can't see us risking him for the qualifying final.

He WILL play last game against the Dogs , take that to your term deposit...

Given he has an ankle syndesmosis (which are notoriously tricky), I'll be pleasantly surprised to see this. Particularly with a VFL bye in a fortnight.

we need him in prior to 1st final
underrated and george is suffering with him out
