Welcome to the Tiggers - Daniel Butler

How often does he just run straight into an opposition player? Maybe he needs glasses.

Starting to really annoy me. Runs into trouble and can't stick a tackle. Out for stengle or baker

Would actually prefer him to be a bit more selfish some of these rubbish outside of the boot stuff that go 5 metres don't help us at all
Was one of the worst offenders when we blew so many of our inside 50s in that second quarter

Hit a patch of crap form n tapered right off. No surprise at this stage of his career, we've got a few young blokes with the thirty / fifty odd games under the belt struggling for consistency at the moment.

In defence of Dan, he could be carrying a groin or something.

he's lost quite a bit of pace.

I know NicNat is an athletic beast, but he gained about 20m on Butler in that chase.

Buts was running on the spot.

could be confidence? he could be taking short steps, wondering what to do next?

or he could be hindered.

either way, he has to go out.

Yep look away hand passes, dinky kicks and taking on players like he is a super star.
Just go back to doing the basics right.

Yes, trying to do Globetrotter stuff and costing the team dearly. Needs a spell in the VFL to find form, do the hard work, get the basics right again. Time for Moore or Stengle to have their turn.

I think I owe Dan an apology. gps tracker data on the polomafia.com says Nicnat sprints at 34.9km/hr, gaining 700m an hour, or 20cm a second, on Butler. ;D

in a game of millimetres, 200mm is alot.

Has been poor this season, getting caught with the ball too often. The goals he has got have mostly come in the last quarter when we've been running rampant. Time for a reset in the VFL.

He's not tucking the ball under the arm and sprinting like he did last year

I suppose its the allure of the midget piñata?

I agree, whether its injury, or confidence, there is no place for hope in the seniors.

This is exactly the same as the Townsend thread. Our issue is that we don't have ready made replacements, and unless we get hit in the arse by a rainbow soon, we were never going to have in 2018.

Bolton, Stengle and even Higlet and his snags aren't AFL ready yet. Markov is only just back from injury, opinion on Chol appears extremely varied which doesn't bode well when exposed to the bunsen burner which is a good team in the 1s.

This leaves Lloyd, B.Ellis and Menadue fighting for spots. Menadue is the one I'd like to see but I don't know if he would even be considered for a forward spot and he hasn't managed to win a spot to date.

One more month for Rioli and who knows how long till he gets back to his GWS finals form. Strap in everyone, could be a bit of a ride.
