Welcome to the Tiggers - Daniel Butler

He's not playing to his own standards (in today's NM game).
Timings out - seems he's zigging when he should be zagging - or just making the wrong decision at times.
And lost his feet at the crucial time on a couple of occasions.

yeah. confidence evaporated throughout the day.

but then he slots the most important goal of the match.

I might be being generous, but I think replacing Higlet with Dannyboy will elevate Buts back to his level.

I think the Midgets are a bit disconbobulated, and while its not Higlets fault, I think he might be the cause.

there was one play in the last quarter where he anticipated the play much worse than his Norf opponent, but 20 seconds later the ball lands in his lap after being unmarked when they turn it over. and scores the goal. infuriating.

As you know eassssssy , I’m not his biggest fan and I thought he had his worst game this year today, however he kicked the goal that had to be kicked and he does have credits in the bank. I’m on my own here however I think Higgins is offering more , Butler gets beaten in contests more then Higgins does imho. I think I’d bring Stengle in for Butler not Higgoooo

Butler is miles ahead of Higgins.

An the people who matter most agree with you jb, I think Butlers just my whipping boy, I see the mistakes more then I see the good. Bottom line is he doesn’t need to be flying at this time of the season and won’t be dropped.

I wish he his stop thinking he is Daniel Rioli. When he is runnng in a straight line he has no side step and he continually tries to evade players instead of taking the first option

He was very very ordinary today. He is unfortunately weak at the contest so I would replace with Stengle but not Bolton.

He struggles on small grounds, too much congestion.
Shat himself several times, but his season before today has been a A1.

It seems to me that he seems to lack awareness and runs himself into trouble often as well as not giving off when he should, on more congested grounds that becomes highlighted more.

He has a role to play his pace is indespensible and so is his nouse around goal.

He has a role which utilises his strengths and needs keep it simple.

The entire small forward line had a downer today and it was evident in the game.

He hasn't been playing great this year but doing enough, not today. Confidence looks shot. Letting the ball bobble out of bounds when he would usually try to keep it in and create something. Fresh air soccer attempt was not like him at all.

Just watched the replay as was at sons footy today...very, very disappointing is butler.

Gets caught way to often and has no perifiul vision, drinking his own bath water a bit is young Dan.

Definitely has a few credits in the bank but needs to lift greatly.

:rofl

everyones got one.

Geezer looked like N.Brown round 1, then he's had a poor spell

but he is a premiership midget, which is kind of like a carnival siamese twin.

I think his form is just a slump.

Ive got concerns (we are scraping the barrel for concerns these days) on Higlets jam jar kicking.

he seems to give it everything from 35 out, causing the misses.

I know its way to early to judge Higlet, but he seems to have clinton king penetration.

I like Butler but so far this year he hasn't reached the stellar heights we expect of him. For me George is currently outplaying him which is a bit of a role reversal from last season

Watching the replay. 5 minutes into 2nd quarter and he has had an absolute mare so far.
