Welcome to the Tigers Jacob Hopper

I reckon our interest in Logue indicates that the deal is more or less done. I also reckon the fact that we could incorporate a 450K (the amount we allegedly offered) player within our cap suggests that a Tigers player will be part of the deal, though it could be that they are going to a 3rd club rather than GWS.
The linking of us to Logue make me wonder if we,ll be active in deals other than Hopper/Taranto in the trade period.

Just speculation but reckon the Logue speculation was based on Broad potentially going back to WA.

If Soldo is part of the Taranto, Hopper trade, I'd like to see Riccardi come to us as part of the deal. Not sure how that gets done, maybe Soldo and another player.
i know for a fact, that Riccardi is best mates with Hopper. And also is very close to his family, so wouldnt be surprised at all if Riccardi finds his way back to Vic.

Wouldn't have to twist Riccardi's arm then you wouldn't think. I saw him take some good contested marks this year. He got a few more games this year, but has been out of favour.
As I said, if Soldo is part of the Taranto, Hopper deal i wouldn't mind seeing Riccardi as part of the deal. They'd be a good chance that Kingsley sees something in a Tigers player who's not getting a game, or is in and out of the side.

Bauer is a Riccardi clone so I can't see us being interested in him at all. If you look at our trading strategy under Hartley we trade for A graders only. Very few B graders or below get a look in.

Prestia, Lynch, Hopper, Taranto. Nank is about the only B grader we've traded in under Hartley and that was because we needed a Ruckman badly. Caddy and Townsend were depth players needed at the time.

Actually caddy in his last year at cats was rated elite which is 20 touches and 1.2 gls per game

Agree KK but Caddy wasn’t a depth player. Definitely brought in as part of our best 22.

True , he was more than a depth and played key roles in 2017 and 2019. He wasn't an A grader though which was the point I was trying to make.

Caddy was 100% best 22 in 2017 & 2018 where he kicked 46 goals playing 2nd fiddle to Jack

Lynch pretty much took his spot and Caddy didnt have the ability to consolidate a midfield spot as well as lacking a step

He got the best out of him self
