Welcome to the Tigers Jacob Hopper

Quickly becoming one of my favourites.

Just does the hard stuff, when we need it. So that Shai and Dusty can do the sublime.

Gonna go a little way in covering the huge loss when Cotch retires.

Hopper is very deceptive. Doesn't seem to be doing much until you watch him carefully then you can appreciate what he brings to the game. Completely different to Taranto but equally as useful to the cause

He holds onto it to the last millisecond. Keeps the opposition scrambling and opens up play.
With a head full of steam from consecutive games he would be a scary prospect as a third mid in the square.

Hopper was disappointing (again) today.
Disturbingly he continually went to ground, in stark contrast to his GWS mate.
This is an indication of a lack of confidence / form, probably stemming from his struggles with fitness post knee rehab - but hopefully not technique.
He is nowhere near his peak GWS form after that knee injury.
Hopefully another pre season can get him back there, otherwise it’s going to be a long six years.

Is no where near as strong as I thought he was. Gets pushed around too easily for a slow inside type. Signs not looking good at this stage.

Was especially disappointing today. No sugar coating.

Same with Taranto, I'll give them a full proper pre-season with us now that they've settled in. Don't forget the bs camp they had and hidden truths in training injuries we've seen.

We've paid a significant premium for him and he's hasn't come anywhere near justifying his price.
