Welcome to the Tigers Jacob Hopper

How do we fit Hopper into our team with Prestia playing so well? It will put our midfield out of balance.

Thought he was ok - but he Attended 23 centre bounces and had 0 centre clearances.

Wasn't on his lonesome there though. Only 2 mids got a centre clearance last night (Taranto and Graham got 1 each), the other 3 were from the rucks (Nank with 1 and Ryan with 2).

They just played with a lot more intensity and roved better at centre bounces hence they completely controlled the territory because of that.

Great post. Thought he was very good around the ground. But that number is a worry.

Good return, huge amount of upside the rest of the year.

That is disgraceful. 31 centre bounces and our mids only nabbed 2 of them?

It was pleasing he got through the game but the midfield mix did look well off & has been purring in recent weeks.
This was a concern of mine heading into the game.
When Prestia & Dusty are back what is our best midfield line up?

Even before he was injured I noticed he is slow to react in the middle and is very flat footed.

Exactly how we set up against Freo and Saints.

I noticed last night that Shai didnt attend many centre bounces.

The way Shai played last night he could have been in every centre bounce and he wouldnt have been noticed.
He was in for 10. Against the Saints, 17. But he was in for 4 in the 1st quarter- so perhaps a response to a lack of impact.

Hopper was our best mid last night, but that is like saying Cumberland was our best forward.
He wasnt hopeless, but he needs to be better.
