Welcome Hugo Ralphsmith

I'm not surprised Hugo was dropped. I don't think he has many redeeming qualities to be an AFL footballer.
Harsh

He has played well at the level before but he is one of those players who would typically be between the 20th and 30th best player on the list. Every club needs those players, someone who can come in and play a role.

He reminds me a bit of Oleg Markov and will probably have a similar career

So did Sonsie

Btw his dad only played 30 games for the saints so he wasn’t eligible for f/s
Ziggy doesn’t like dealing in facts just enjoys bagging the young blokes. Should have barracked for Carlton, would of been in his element as a blue bagger haha

Turns the ball over way to much unless that happens his not even close to best 22 still maintain we should have trade him to gws part of the Hopper deal.

Ive never been a buyer of what others are selling on this kid.

For mine he hasnt shown any real improvement on any of his glaring deficiencies for the past 3 years.

Is still reactive, is still soft thus lacks composure and burns the footy when he has it. and is poor one on one.

He can run but thats not enough.

Time for others to get a look in for mine.

For the reasons that you state, we can't play Hugo in the back half, but then pushing him forward means you don't see his major one wood so much (his pace).

I think the only place that he might work well is as a small pressure forward. Has a big boot on him so when he gets free should be good for kicking goals (if he can kick them straight) and his pace would worry defenders. Maybe we can re-purpose him in the 2's for the rest of the season.
