Umpire farce - Getting worse by the minute!

Mor knee jerk interpretation changes from the AFL. Players need to dispose of ball quicker or HTB will be called. This may or may not be a good change, (in principle its a good change), it may or may not be implemented well (I know what my money is on), but that is not the point. The point is how this has been done. This has been horrendous for years and getting worse, us fans have been tearing our hair out. Suddenly Dimma has a stern word and they kneejerk react mid-season!. They actually seem to think they can solve a genuine problem that has been building for years, and they have denied for years, in a week! Lost for words. Abysmal The AFL are a joke.

Can the AFL heirachy stop interpreting and reinterpreting the rules! Just reinforce the rules as they are written ffs. Those pricks are making me feel a little sympathy for the maggots.
On the plus side, it won’t make a difference to us since we don’t seem to get rewarded anyway.
The other plus is we aren’t the first game of the round so the teams playing Thursday , Friday and Saturday afternoon are the guinea pigs for this

You could always buy a Hun the day after Tigers games n donate 10 cents to Rupe a few times. Pretty sure he wouldn't even notice the 2 n a bit dollars per year of extra income.

A change on rule interpretation and the AFL doesn't have Richmond playing on a Thursday night to test it on tonits enth degree!

Could they possibly wait till Saturday to make an example on us on the new interpretation?

Been saying it for awhile that umps are listening to their ear piece and taking instructions from someone and making late calls
The game is *smile* corrupt when someone instructs the 4 field umps and over rules their decisions

But has it happened that someone instructs the 4 field umps and over rules their decisions? I haven't read anything like that in today's news.

Bloody bizarre that the Umpy's have been wired up for years and it's taken until now for one of the coaches / clubs to suddenly notice that something corrupt n fishy might be going on. WTF have they been doing all this time, pickin n flickin boogers or something?

The only time the maggot's earpieces should be activated should be for a goal review or similar adjudication. All other times it should be off.
To ensure compliance, all feed must be broadcast at the ground and via the television broadcast. :cool:
