Umpire farce - Getting worse by the minute!

Can someone please explain how Cotchin was penelised deliberate out of bounds when he was tucked up against the boundary and kicked the ball up the ground, ansd yes it was umpire no.24 who was having a great game for nmelb today.

Difference is Riewoldt plays for them every time , Petrie doesn't, jack needs to pull his finger out.

Are you kidding, Petrie always plays for frees by throwing his arms out wildly and going to ground, when does Jack ever do that, his crime is trying to break free of the person who is always holding him.

Jennings umpired today, it did seem they were extra hot on the umpire abuse against us

Riewoldt didn't deserve a single free kick he played for....he's getting in to the Matthew Lloyd category of trying to milk frees.
You can't get a free kick if your holding too.

The 50's were there for North, except the Moore one.....he was stiff.

I was so angry with some of the decisions, I almost jumped the fence in the second 1/4 to belt McBurney who was right in front of me.
I'm not exaggerating at all.....the only thing that held me back was I had to remind myself I didn't want to be banned from footy.

So it's a 50 meter penalty now when the player points at the replay screen? I have never seen that before

irresective of the umpires we hit the fromt in the last qtr and yet again loose poor desision making a lack of composure and the stupidity of continually bombing in long and high cost us the game.

Until we invade the pitch and cause some real havoc, this umpiring farce will continue to halt our slow climb up the ladder. They clearly gave north the ascendancy again today...don't care what anybody says, when the game was in the balance, they tipped it norths way. In this day and age, every little decision counts and when the game was hot, north got every bit of it.

Time for tigers ferals to get feral...need 50+ fans to follow to make a real statement...(and save me a $6000 fine)...

He still used colorful language....which is considered abuse.

Only against these pussy dumpires. I'd love to see these dumpires vent their spleen or dispute a decision under pressure with clean words.

Honestly, they umpire games with a school teacher mentality treating players like primary school kids.

The umpiring was atrocious today. How bad are Jennings (24) and Mollison (32) going when it's not exactly clear whether or not McBumble was the worst of the umpires on the ground.

As has been pointed out the Tuck decision after a poor bounce was the wrong interpretation, the Cotch deliberate out of bounds was perhaps the most laughable decision I've ever seen, Jack was mugged all day with no free kicks paid, no free for Delids getting his head taken off, 50m against Dusty for a push to the chest, the list goes on. Disgraceful.

Still should've won if we kicked straight but bloody hell they make it almost unwatchable.

The disappointing thing is they were inconsistent. Cotch was pinged once. He was ignored for another one. A North player was pinged for one. I hate the rule. It's too open to individual interpretation and assumption.

They were very strict on this today...at least they were consistent with it all day.
I thought in the 3rd 1/4 when a North player was pinged in our forward was stiff too but at least they were consistent with it.

The Cotchin one was unbelievable, happened right in front of me. He actually did everything to keep the ball in.

I know of two given and one ignored. They all seemed similar incidents. Too much open to individual umpire determination imo. I wonder which umpires paid the frees and which didn't. It almost seems like nobody touching the ball before it goes over the boundary is an automatic free against.

Consistency with this rule would be if it was umpired the same way across all matches in the round, week after week. How many do they have to pay before you can say ok they are consistently pinging guys today.
