Umpire farce - Getting worse by the minute!

The umpiring wasn't great but that went both ways. I wouldn't blame them for our loss.

I give up! Riewoldt was held 9 times out of 10 and gets nothing, Petrie is sneezed on and its a free No.24 was the biggest joke!

I disagree. Jack pushed back into his defender a lot. That always results in a tangle and the forward being knocked about. petrie clunked big marks.

I took my gf to the game. She follows collingwood and had no agenda... And even she was shocked by the non-decisions that went against jack. He should have received at least 4 frees in the first half alone for holding. It feels like richo all over again

Yet when Petrie pushed back into McGuane and locked his arm, and McGuane swung his arm free and Petrie allowed himself to fall over, he got the kick. Admittedly it would've been tough for the umpire to pick, and they weren't up to scratch today.

jack was held and held and held....it was bloody insane.....i asked a friend who write for a newspaper about it on the way home..his reply was that its known that as long as jack keeps complaining to the umps they will not like him and he will not get many free kicks ....simple as that....

Should have been play on. Umpiring was disgraceful today and did influence result against us.

if that was jack there is noooooo way on this earth he would of been payed that free.....the umpires were simply mind boggling today

Was some real questionable decisions out there today for both teams. It almost got comical at stages out there today.

Its not like freekicks just in general play its always costly free kicks which go against us. First of all the deledio one! How bloody pedantic are those green muppets. Footballs changed. Cant say a bloody word it goes against all emotions. Then the copious amount of times jack was held onto. The fifty against dusty for basically pushing the guy on the chest my bloody god!

Difference is Riewoldt plays for them every time , Petrie doesn't, jack needs to pull his finger out.

No, Umpires weren't to blame....but they sure were contributors! A free against Tuck for taking the ball out of the "ruck" ( even though he didnt go up in the ruck contest!), 50m against Dusty for pushing in the chest and a free and 50 against Lids for highlighting the umpires incompetence. 3 goals.

We lose by a goal... North get one inediblly soft goal when Lids is so incensed buy a decision he give away a free then the umpire becomes the first person in history to give a 50 when a player tells him to look at the replay

FAME!!!!!!!!

Read the rule book umps.

I draw umpire 24's attention to section 15 in the rule book. then look down to subsection 2.3 clause c. It reads as follows; a Player who takes possession of the football while contesting at a bounce or a throw by a field umpire or at a boundary throw in,shall be regarded as having prior opportunity except in the instance of a poor bounce or throw in.

Umpire 24 your shameful decision in front of the north Melbourne goals altered the result of the match. The bounce was poor and as a result the above rule should have been applied but instead you pinged Tucky and a goal resulted.
