We overpaid for Prestia (at the time only) because we were already committed to bringing him to the club and we had a crap year so we ended up with pick six. IfI we had of finish higher on the ladder we would have given up pick 11 for example (depending on where we finished). Then maybe people wouldn’t have said we overpaid (at the time).

Unfortunately no those future first are needed for their academy tier next year when the draft value index goes down so they need to use good picks rather than junk pick a

I would have been trying to trade in a few 23 or 24 year olds. We have money and list space. We will be in a hole for years, without them.
