The March to the finals- 2015.

Freo, WCE and Hawks will all be hoping we finish outside of the Top 4

Freo have played their fellow top 8 competitors 10 times
Winning the first 5 up until the end of May.
Since then they've played 5 and won just the once: richmond on the MCG by 4 points.
We'd all like that last couple of minutes back.

So yeah Freo would be the game to get into, but I doubt Sydney will give it to us.

I was just pointing out that 4th playing Freo is way better than 4th playing WC, assuming current form continues. Similarly, the Hawks would be anxious about WC and looking forward to a game against Freo.

Of course, Freo might be saving themselves as they have had nothing much to play for during the last few games.

West Coast did draw with Gold Coast only 3 or 4 weeks ago. Anything can happen really. We just need to do everything we can to give us the best chance of grabbing 4th and that 2nd chance. Please Saints, do what you know you are capable of next game.

I want our club to approach r23 v North as our first final.

The Hawks win was awesome
Disappointing away game v Adelaide
Big wins v Suns Coll Essendon.
Go out hard against North.

Pretty good preparation to make a statement.

North have won 7 (maybe 8) in a row and are looking pretty good.
We need to treat it like a final and see what we've learned from the last three seasons.

If somehow the Saints beat Sydney our percentage still needs to be higher them, I think there is 1-2 percent difference? This means we need to thump the Bombers and hope Sydney does not pump the Lions into submission in the last round. We also must beat North. An exciting 2 weeks ahead for us Tiger supporters!

The play the Suns in the last round, not Brisbane.

If we are to finish fourth we have to win both and Sydney drop the St. Kilda game. We are 2% ahead. We will both finish with an against of around 1600 so roughly each percentage point is gained by about 16 points for.
So our combined winning margin must be about (Sydney's winning margin over the Suns) - (their losing margin against the Aints) - 32, or greater.

I think !

I'll be delighted if the swans lose a game (saints or the Suns) and we beat essendon and North.
But I'm not putting a brass razoo on it happening .

Richmond beat essendon
Wce defeat adelaide
Geelong beat Collingwood tonight

Next week we defeat North (yay!! :clap )
And geelong beat Adelaide

Then we get an opportunity to defeat geelong the week after

Knock off North and then geelong in a final.

That's the big dream

:gotigers

So

Western Bulldogs
North Melbourne
Adelaide Crows

Theyve all beaten us last time we played them

We won't like a third elimination final loss in a row - that's for sure

Wouldn't worry about that.
North and the Dogs were so long ago we were a different team then.
Adelaide - we were 9-2 from the previous 11 and the two losses weren't too bad either ... Weagles by 20 and that game against Freo where we were the better team anyway. And we had just had a win over Hawthorn.
We were due a bad'un.

And our team had the flu

so if this happens:

we beat essendon then lose to north
north beat dogs then beat us
crows beat eagles then beat the cats
dogs lose to north then beat brisbane

we will end up playing elim against adelaide in adelaide

hmmm, don't like that scenario at all

Entirely possible too

The weakest link in that lot is adelaide beating the Eagles.

Id like (love)to think we could beat North, but I'll believe when I see it
