Yeah, I took "big boy month" to mean "We need to win ugly during a heavy training load when we're sore".
The idea of encouraging hard, tough football in July is a mindset thing because it's the month with the heaviest workload. It's the easiest time to drop games.
We'll begin to peak early/mid-August and hardly train during September at all.
