The Blair "Which?" Project

With all the talk about Dustin, if he was to leave at the end of 2024 to GC, we should expect at least first round pick compo. that will mean 2 first rounders, 2 second rounders, a third rounder, 2 fourth rounder available. this would provide us with a good drafting picks, able to get a top rank player or both.

No chance we get a 1st. AFL herbs and spices would say end of second as he would be 32 plus. We will get screwed I am sure

Most left field idea ever, Jack White cut from OKC, a quick phone call wouldn't hurt.

reported his OKC contract is 600k USD guaranteed. Fine coin
Would be easy enough for him to stay in the US and keep chasing the dream

We read yesterday that according to Corn the optimum opportunity to trade Dusty would be at a proposed midseason trade, which will occur after rd 11, and therefore after his 300th, if he plays in all 11 rounds.

If he actually intends to leave for say GC after the conclusion of this years contract, and if there is a mid season draft, then perhaps Corn is right.
He made a similar suggestion concerning a potential move of Lynchy, with both moves occurring if we are seen to be labouring in the bottom half.

Is Corn right if maybe we can nett a couple of extra 2024 1st rounders in this way?

I am really against this mid season draft idea. I know it happens elsewhere and it happened in the vfl days but the idea of anyone playing for 2 clubs in the one season is not one that I would support.
Imagine the hype of Dusty playing his 300th and then lining up for someone else the next week …it’s just not right imo

Sean Darcy makes absolute sense to be our main target at the end of next season
Maybe, he would be a good back up to Ryan.

Seriously though, he will command big $$$. It may be debateable whether a ruck is worth the sort of money he will get.
