Steve Morris F/S

Stevey probably hates carlton as much as I do. Ive been repeating myself a bit lately, but Stevey stays.

I reckon the Norm Smith voting this year will look like this

Trent Cotchin 7
Dustin Martin 4
Nick Vlastuin 3
Tyrine Vockery 2
David Astbury 1
Reece Conca 1
Steve Morris 1
Stephen Hill 1

FWIW, I also reckon Ross Lyon will call the police in tears, pleading for them to come get Dustin Martin

Couldn't find a spot for Crowley after the sterling job he must have done on Lids? (that's the only reason I can see him not registering a single vote).

I was concerned that he must have been out injured...then I realised it couldn't be that. Nothing stops Lids running out for his beloved Tigers. Not even amputation would keep him away. Gollywog was just mistaken. He realises his folly as he sees the 3 on the back of the player who walks up to collect Normie. Lids is proud to wear the medal but not as proud as he was to have been awarded his 3rd Jack Dyer one the week before. The Grand Final was a great team effort and Lids doesn't like being singled out. He shares a drink from the Cup with Jacko. 2 maligned and under rated players who have suddenly become heroes to those who doubted them.

almost.... BUT, The Chimp and Lids and dusty actually drew in a 3-way tie. Noone knows what to do until Dustys mum walks calmly to the dias carrying a tungsten tipped battle axe under her arm. 110,000 people draw breath as she takes Norm, walks to Ross Lyon and bends down and balances it carefully on Ross's left steel cap boot. She raises the battle axe, and cleaves the medal in two and 2/3rd severs Ross's two biggest toes. Then Dustys mum picks up the two halves and stacks them one on the other on Ross's right boot and cleaves again. This time the thickness of the two halves combine with Ross's chinese made steel cap, to preserve his toes.

Then, Dusty's mum takes the 4 quartered norm smith. She gives 1/4 to Lids, 1/4 to The Chimp, 1/4 to her boy, who all have tears of pure joy streaming down their faces. Ross is blubbering too. The 4th quarter, she holds aloft before Liam Mcbean. Liam lowers his head and mumbles some words in a forgotten language.

Blessed, Dusty's mum raises the 4th quarter again and does a slow 360 degree revolution. Still the crowd doesnt move, speak, scratch or cough. Dustys mum draws back her hand. she has taken on an ethereal glow. she will never cook eggs again.

And she throws the 4th quarter high and low. It seers out of the MCG, over Punt Road, over King Island, over Bass Strait, over Launceston, over the mighty Tambling Franklin river,

and it then burns deep; deep; deep into the black soil at centre half forward, kicking to the wrest point end, of the Sandy Bay Football ground.

Im not sure why Dustys mum pegged the 4th quarter. I would have given it to Nick Vlastuin. Or Jacko.

Same here. I guess the umpies didn't appreciate the Scotty Turner impersonation leaving the ground look like a battlefield. Bloodied and broken opposition players everywhere.

interesting story on stevie on rfc.com today.

says he was shifted onto yarran in the fourth quarter and kept him goalless and to 3 touches. matchwinning

Clearly spin, we know that Morris can't play and Dimma can't make changes during a match.

you make an art form of sarcasm mid. not many blokes can pull it off. :clapping

He made comments like a high school kid in regards to our loss yesterday (see RFC website).

http://www.richmondfc.com.au/news/2014-04-06/richmond-laments-slow-start

Admitting errors our players made by not showing leadership and not being able to change momentum.

I really hope this is just the media spin our players are taught to say, because these are the same old words we've heard week after week over the years.

This kid needs a rest, his shoulder is so obviously effecting him... Unfortunately he can't carry injuries in the role that he plays, as a close checking small defender and hard nut.. Had a great couple of years (excluding EF)... Get him right and bring him back once fully fit..

Don't know anyone on our list that is a like for like replacement, but someone fit can do a better job and we wouldn't be risking his long term playing future.

"At Richmond, we really pride ourselves on the fact that we're trying to build team leadership".

Another good pick up TF. The evidence is slowly surfacing.

Gets given the ball off the square at the first bounce and mongrels it straight up in the air - its not good enough and happens too often. Could have been our first inside 50, turns into theirs.

Finals/flags means these things stop happening as often

How can we continually give games to a guy that is playing with one shoulder and has been beaten each week by his opponent?? Easy, Dimma's favourites!
