Steve Morris F/S

When I mentioned my son told me he was very impressed with Morris in our pre-season game in Canberra someone (djevv?) replied that his skills were ordinary and that he should stick to handball.

He should really tone down the kamikaze stuff as i reckon he is selling his skills and composure short by doing so. We cant afford to not have him running around for us, heck of a player is Morris! :clap

Justifys Port's interest in him last year - again a great coup by the recruiters to basically get Morris and Ellis for pick 15.

Can't think of anyone else like him in the afl.
Absolute jet!

No doubt. Should replace Dan Jackson in the leadership group. The hit he did on (?) where he smashed the ball and the body at the same time without infringing is the standard we should be looking for.

He is your crazy mate who would never have anyone at his end when you played kick to kick with all your mates

After the Crows game, a Crows "friend" of mine asked who was that albino pr!ck that kept smashing into her beloved Crow players. Pretty proud of Stevie at that moment.

Well the lad is a team footballer and literally he will not shirk any contest whatsoever which is more than I can say for some players playing the sanitised game these days. Whilst not wishing it to happen but judging from what I have seen so far he will end several players careers before his is finished through his sheer murderous attack on the ball and the man if they are within the vacinity of the ball.

He is a guy you have in your premiership 22.

Loved how when he was injured in the third term(?) Holding his shoulder in pain, looking like he was gonna come off, and still tried to knock a demons player with his other shoulder as he ran past. Gold.

Yep. Total hardnut wrecking ball who makes others hear footsteps. Doesn't need to whack anyone to bury them.

It was only a flesh wound.

I reckon he's showing a bit more polish each week.
Definitely agree with this. He is quickly becoming a vital piece of our structure.

His hardness at the ball is real toughness. Not welling ham tough. I've also noticed he doesn't get carried away with fighting blokes the way kingy used or still does occasionally.

Watched him lay his good shoulder into a demon while carrying his injured one. Unbelievable team man that boy.

That hit he did on Tapscott was tremendous technique actually. He could have inflicted a lot of pain, taken him out and probably got a few weeks on the sidelines but he got all ball. No report and not even a free kick because it was a hard fair contest.
