That hit he did on Tapscott was tremendous technique actually. He could have inflicted a lot of pain, taken him out and probably got a few weeks on the sidelines but he got all ball. No report and not even a free kick because it was a hard fair contest.

Exactly, it was a Wellingham moment and Steve did what Wellingham should have done and played the ball not the man. He still killed the contest, he still hurt the other player, but both of them will be able to run out again next week, as they should after a tough game of footy.

yeah I thought the same when I saw it. Wellingham went the soft option. Ignored the ball, protected himself and took out the man.

The biggest concern coming into 2012 was his disposal. I've kept my eye on it and it is fair to say there is no concern. He consistently runs at pace yet executes well. So important to our side.

Solid game. Was one of our best in defence.

Agree, was one of our best tonight. Very impressive so far this year. If half our team had his heart & application we'd be alot better off.

Wonderful game from Morris - the find of the season for the Tiges.

If only more of his experienced teammates had the fire in the belly for the contest he brings week in, week out...

Agree with all comments. I just love watching him play. We need a few more like him.

His run now and into the future is/will continue to be vital and that is before you start talking about his desperation and 1%ers. Great pickup by the club.

Outstanding attack on the footy and will be a very creative player coming out of the back line.

bloody hell..what an awesome pick up this guy has been...possibly only second to cotchin for our best player this year

Fabulous game. You've gotta love his run and desperation. Griggs needs a highlights package of this bloke's play to inspire him to tackle and to get in and get the ball when it is his turn
