What are you like on sticking to the point?

Tim, it's just that why do I have to repeat it, or re-explain it to you, when you can go back and check my posts yourself. But here's the relevant part of my first post today on this thread (I think it was):

"Morris had to come back from a serious leg injury, takes time to really get your form and confidence back. He seems to be kicking well again now too."

Then, later post:

"He was brought back for his first AFL game after a very serious knee injury."

Not sure how many knee reconstructions you ever had, TT, but I think a guy in his first game back might do it tough. There's some guy out west who they say is not the player he used to be after similar return from a serious injury, Nate someone. It takes time to regain full confidence etc.

All clear now, OK?

As I said Leon, stick to the point. You belittled Evo's logic because he singled out Morris for his performance v Crows:

He was brought back for his first AFL game after a very serious knee injury. The whole team was pantsed by the Crows, but, of course, you single out Steve. Yer, he must have been totally responsible. Logic so bad it's got me laughing out loud.
when Dimma himself agreed with the fact Morris's game wasn't up to par because he demoted him after this performance! Ipso facto (I know you like that one) Dimma and Evo have the same opinion!

Yes I know it was Steves first AFL game back (after 3 or 4 VFL games) but the medical team and the selection committee deemed him fit and ready to play. Steve didn't perform to the required level, he got dropped.

All clear now? :hihi

The game he played against the Crows (horrible as it was) is irrelevant when taking about Morris.

He's been on the list for 8 years, played 100 games and is not up to AFL standard.

Nobody can question his efforts or workrate, but he simply cant compete at the level we need him to.

His skills are questionable, he isn't quick enough for his size and he loses his feet too often.

We need to move on and find someone better.

Being hard at it was far from being the only grounds I gave, you just chose to ignore the substantive reasons given. But, heh, our young guys really stood up to a truly hard AFL team over 4 qtrs last week (actually with a very similar age profile to us overall). Oh, wait, upon a closer look, we were bullied and cacked our pants again. Face it.

But at least there were no other 'appalling decision maker and panicker(s)' out there against the Swans. Thanks for your highly questionable comments.

Think we can well lose, which is why I am saying to beat Carlscum, you have to stop Docherty and Simpson running and delivering the ball out their back half continually. As good as our young guys are going to be, some are now struggling, haven't got the tank required, or miss far too many scoring opportunities which has cost vital games.

How many tackles did Castagna and Lloyd lay that match, Toigs? As for 'I don't care if we don't make the 8 ...' This is where we differ. I am not such a fan. I am sick of this kind of Richmond mindset - always next year ... some time in the distant future ... when the stars align ... one day.

It's for losers and quitters. At least Morris has never quit that I've noticed.

You have conflated last week's game with my comments on Starjump Steve. As for the rest of your post, whoopee doo, its your opinion.

Are people discussing bringing morris in?

Well he kicked 4 goals in the VFL so I think he's suited to the small forward role in the senior side, I mean lets give it a go, see if it works...........

Plus, to be fair to Steve, he gives his all......

Revelation up forward. Reinvigorated by his new role, hit the scoreboard heavily.
Not convinced Morro is back? Accept the inevitable no fighting it
Im calling it early welcome back :happy :happy :happy Starjump Morro

Not a fan of Morris but he can't be worse than Castagna or Rioli right now.

Prepared to give Rioli one more but Castagna must go. George gives as much pressure to his teammates as he does the other mob.

Hang on. I thought you said we will pick Stengle and win by ten goals ... at last. You've got me really salivating.

Never mind curbing Docherty and Simpson. We won't need to worry about them with another mighty midget in - 171 cm and 70 kg.

But weren't you the continuous critic of Prestia on the same grounds? (Not that I've been a big wrap for him either, have to admit)

But back to Tyson: assuming Dimma picks him, how many will he kick himself? Five, ten?

I like Castagna, but not sure he is going well enough; his poor kicking is costing us dearly - 55.6 DE% last game - forwards need higher skills than this. Did not lay ONE tackle - so what forward pressure is he exerting?

Morris, or even Markov, does not have much to beat. Just think we need a hardened, full-game, chase and tackle man for the match-ups this game. Not a youngster who has hit the wall and cannot perform at the level for 120 minutes. Same forwards as last week, Docherty and Simpson will run it out easily.

We need to forget about Morris.

Obviously many on PRE can't, Harry. Morris has given them PTSD. Say we allow Rioli to stay in and take Simpson most of the time, because at least Dan will keep chasing and tackling.

But who do you want to play on Docherty, who is their quarterback?

Its obvious the guy that kicked 4 in the VFL against Geelong. Goes by the name of Steve " :star jump" Morro come on down
