Steve Morris F/S

Morris as a lock-down defender is fine, as a forward he's an abject failure. One can only blame the coaching staff & recruiters for forcing him to play out of position.

Massive indictment on Hardwick. He really lost me when he stubbornly persevered with such an obviously stupid decision.

You can't do anything but wish Morris the best, biggest worry for me with him coming back from his second knee is how often he went to ground since his first one, lot of ACL victims do that and I can imagine he'd be even more cautious of his knee now. Was good to see him back where he belongs in the BP and glad to see him doing reasonably well in his last 3 games, I'd imagine he'll have about 8 weeks to get himself an extension.

Why would North (or anyone) want him? He's virtually a write off for 2017. He's had bad form for the best part of 2 seasons prior to this season and his form in 2016 went from diabolical to ...ok. A dime a dozen hbf.

When Steve got injured he seemed to be finding some good form again. He appears to have recovered from his injury and is now back playing VFL. He is a favoured son of Dimma so what are the chances he will be playing AFL in the next couple of rounds?

Read Dimmas thoughts on Steve ie he,ll play another week in the vfl before coming into the selection mix for the senior side.

Thought Morris played his best footy down back when breaking lines and taking the game on.

Possibly another who will benefit from a more positive game plan?

It's quite possible, he was a good player early in his career.

The new game plan would suit him. Would bring him into the backline and push ellis up to the wing.

hes going to be a suitable replacement for Lambert, Miles, Hunt, Townsend, as needed.

one of those blokes is gonna play each week.

embrace it.
