Steve Morris F/S

Maybe's he's under hypnosis and thinks it's 2013 because he seems to be channelling the form from that season.

Has been good the last few weeks and has seemingly regained an intent to run & kick the ball like he did in his first season.

Makes the experiment of trying him as a forward even more ridiculous.

Bloody hell, I can't work out this guy.

One minute, a premier back pocket in the league.

Next season, an absolute liability who couldn't get a touch. Complete panic merchant.

Now mr dependable again in defence and actually pretty good with ball in the hand.

WTF is going on??

1. 2014 - Plays entire season with bung shoulder which requires a reconstruction at the end of the season.
2. 2015 - Trialed up forward - persisted with for 10 games despite it clearly being a failed experiment.
3. 2016 - Moved back to the backline where he belongs AND is now fully fit.

Very good game again tonight. Loving when he takes the game on, and courageous as always.

Doing better since he hasn't had to cover for Houli.

playing him to his strengths

Good to see him havin a reasonable run, can't stand the fact he goes to ground so easy, puts himself out of the contest to easily.

He has his run back. He's been very good last 3 games or so. I think it has helped our structure immensely as others we were trying i similar positions just wasn't working either.

Dunno how he's done it or how it happened, but he's about back to where he was before the shoulder injury, when he was a decent small defender. I no longer cringe when he goes near the ball. Taylor Hunt on the other hand...

Definitely back to his rat back pocket best, never be a star n there'll be games when we shake our head at times, but he's got enough hard nut annoying prick in him to unsettle his opponents n when he's on his game becomes a handy player.

He's turned back into Kamikaze Steve. I swear his fanatical attack on the ball makes opponents scared to go near him when the ball is in dispute.
