Steve Morris F/S

Definitely back to his rat back pocket form, well done to him. Hope his head is ok after getting crunched off that hospital pass.

Getting back to best form, shame about the head clash late in the game, hopefully he won't have to miss a week of football with concussion. With the injuries we have he's become useful again in defence and if he's right we can drop Hunt to fit Rioli back in.

Definitely, credit to where credit is due, he has played very well in the past 2 weeks and deserves his spot in the side. Isn't this all that fans expect - play well retain your spot, play poorly and go back to VFL?? The selection criteria at RFC is very confusing.

Gone back to the only way Morris can play....Keep It Simple Stevie, worry for me is with Morris, Batchelor an Grimes in that back half there's not a lot of run and carry, Grimes is a lock but very important to add some class back there not just stoppers ......anyway good to see Stevie doin his job

Favouritism.

Morris has been very good the last 2 weeks. He played a great last quarter against the swans. It wasn't always pretty, or scientific but his desperation and commitment were incredible.

Solid but not brilliant. IMO, a total over-exageration from a good mate like Dimma. When's the last time we heard Dimma rate/call someone like Jack, Chimp, Lids, Miles etc.... as 'brilliant'?

No idea. I don't keep score

Credit where it is due. Has improved from his previous horrible games and that's good. Can't criticise his attack on the ball or opponent, but as some have said the lack of run from the backline still worries some on here, including me.

I'm gunna give Dimma the benefit of the doubt assume he means brilliant compared to some of Morris's efforts over the last few seasons.

After last week's game Dimma waxed for about two minutes on what "an incredible player" Jack is. He's always talking about how good Chimp is.

Dimma very rarely criticises any player publicly. They're all champions.

Beavis is pretty good at the man management thing. Strokes when he needs too, slaps when that's the most effective. He's given Miles, Conca and Bellis slaps in the media and they came good. Other players need cajoling.

Ha just doing his job.

Bout it, Baloo.

Well done to Morris for his past two matches. He hasn't been the liability he has come to be for some time.
I remain unconvinced that he is the type of player, particularly with his average skill sets, that will help propel the Tigers to the tier of elite teams in the competition.
The star-jumping warrior has been a useful and serviceable journeyman for RFC (particularly in the formative stages of Hardwick's tenure), yet if the Tigers are to be more successful in 2017 and beyond then I really can't see a place for Morris in the best 22.

Damned with faint praise indeed :hihi

But tbh what Steve has produced the last 2 weeks is the minimum for a 27yr old with 84 games under his belt.
