Thought it was his best game for the club.

absolutely, was very good for 4 quarters. his run and spread from defence was great and his disposal (which i have been very critical of) was very good. hope he keeps working his arse off and continues to improve. good on ya titch :clap

Well said and totally agree.

When I saw him in defence I thought, tank, but he surprised me no end and your right, his disposal was very effective today.

I was a doubter, and I heard Wallet say that Titch was one of the best at evasiveness through traffic. We saw it today. Well done Titch, very good game and played above his weight.

Was speaking to an Adelaide recruiter this weekend and I had to bring up Shane Edwards. If it weren't for Tippett being available, Shane would be a Crow right now, and this guy can't speak highly of enough of Titch as a junior.

I did mention how highly maligned he is, on this site in particular and he almost fell off his chair laughing at how clueless some people could be. He reckons the Crows would do anything to get him back to S.A as he thinks he is an exceptional footballer and I agree totally.

I also asked, if he was a Crow where would he play? He said wing straight away, and this is the way I saw it when I watched Shane as a junior.

Great game today by Titch, hopefully will shut the nuffies up.

Can you go back and offer the Titch for Tippett trade then.

( I say that as someone who has faith Edwards can make it - but Tippett is going to be special)

We had the pick before Adelaide and went with Shane.

At the draft preview FJ said that Adelaide were keen on him with their first pick, but he slipped when Sellar was still available.

When it came to our second pick we only had to decide between Titch and Tipp form our shortlist. I assume that since we'd gone tall with JR we went short with Titch.

Played very well today! Some of his marks in the backline in those last few minutes gave us a huge chance to win the game. Let's hope he can perform at this level on a more regular basis.

Maybe Rawlings knows how to get the best out a few of these boys Tambling Riewoldt Edwards Jackson etc
fair to say tambling & riewoldt have both been much better since they got dropped and that was well before rawlings took over. as for jackson well he has been a much improved player since the beginning of the season so i dont think rawlings can be taking the credit for him either.

i will however say that rawlings can take some credit for vickery, post, and silvester........has obviously worked with them at coburg and has brought them into the team having a red hot crack which is what we want from our players.

YEP I AGREE ALSO GOOD GAME TODAY AND NO HOWLERS.

I hope he continues to improve. I don't know what it is, and really until now there is probably no basis for this comment, but I just think he has a bit of that X factor about him. Have thought that from early on, but he hadn't done much to justify those thoughts.

Us nuffies arent impressed with the odd good game.
he was criticised for a reason. while he didnt turnit over today i have doubts weather his foot skills have dramatically fixed themselves. still terribly undersized and have grave doubts about his ability to get to standard in this area. having said this i will reiterate he had a good game today. played well in defence and thru the middle. not sure what his actual position was wing hbf i assume.

after the pre season this yr i thought there was no hope for this kid maybe there is a smigeon after all. all i will concede atm is there are others more in the gun than him.

His footskills were very good today. A dramatic improvement from earlier in the year.

Its amazing what a bit of confidence can do.

So then why would Adelaide, arguably the best list management team in the AFL throw everything at us in the past two pre-seasons for Shane Edwards?

This kid could be an outstanding footballer, but not in the backline. People in Adelaide were drooling over this kid, you don't just lose ability. Give him time.
