BTW I reiterate his foot skills are nowhere near as bad as some suggest.

Agreed. Kicks/handballs when he should run, and runs when he should kick. Got the decisions right today. He's a great kid getting better.

Again, I've been a critic of Edwards, especially his disposal, but he was good yesterday. 2 small things he did really impressed: as he was running out of defence he ran down the middle through CHB and kicked a 40m pass to the centre where picked out Tambling who had a few Roos around him. Liked that kick a lot, we dont see enough quality disposal out of defence ( did I just say that about Edwards???).

The other one was a mark he took against the point post at the Punt rd end. It wasn't quite a contested mark but a mark above the shoulders with other Roo players around him. Good mark for a little guy.

Neither acts were spectacular but good signs nontheless.

He may have played his best game today, and that's because he's a very good and intelligent footballer, but I'll argue until the cows come home that he's a wingman.
Its well known that Adelaide were keen to take him with there first pick, however when Sellar slipped they couldnt pass up on the ruck/forward option(been very dissapointing) I agree in him been a wingman, can see him been a very good part of an 8 man midfield rotation with the option of going forward or back. Actually think this half back role will prove a very good educational tool for him. Like many say needs a few kiols, however plenty of lightweights do ok in the AFL, just cant have a TW blueprint of a whole team of them.

Great to see him building his confidence, I'm not sure it was all Terry's fault but there are a number of guys playing with more freedom since Jade took over.

Would love to see a real break out game from Shane before the year is out

We have seen two fantastic games from Titch in the last two weeks.

He is really building a spot in the side and deserves our cheers for his efforts and skill development.

Has been allowed to add to his game since TW went, well done Titch. The past few weeks may save your career at RFC if you can continue.

I am a fan of Shane and believe the critism he was getting wasnt called for. I believe Terry has alot to answer for , for stalling some of the kids players career. This is where Jade has had a profound effect on this list.

That mark was pure courage. Loved his dash and prepared to take them on. It looks as though he has overtaken Raines now.

Well done. Keep it up Shane.

I must admit I had pretty much given up on Titch making it.

The last few weeks I have had to re think that. He's playing some really good footy and is taking the game on. My hopes have been restored!

I am a fan as well, an though he has far from made it, you are spot on with your call re TW ,very true in Eddies case

I have always loved the way he goes about it and am very happy that he has strung together a couple of good ones. Quality mover, who will be a better than average player when he adds lots of ks into his legs and several kgs to his frame.

Last two weeks have been very good from Titch. Last week's was better as he used the ball much better last week but that mark he took in the dying stages yesterday, flying at the footy, was exceptional and, best of all, timely.
