Round 19 - Other games

The 2022 Premiership will be known as the ‘Fraud Premiership’
Remember 2020 in the hub, when all the media were saying it would be the greatest premiership win in history?

And then we won it, and it was never mentioned again.

They hate us

It’s wide open and we’ve *smile* the bed. Such a shame.

Scumwood are a big chance. The way they’re playing they could beat anyone. Geelong is the other form team but can they get over the finals hoodoo. Melbourne is probably the best team but they have dropped off at the wrong time. Can they get back to their best in time for finals.

Don’t rate Freo, Brisbane, Carlton, Dogs or Saints. Swans are too inconsistent.

Such a shame that we most likely won’t be there. This was our last roll and we’ve blown it.

That's 2 wins there sub players have won them the game.
Henry kicked 4 in qtr against Freo
And Carmichael comes on for Maynard and kicks 2.
Hawthorn did what Essendon did, had countless chance's but burnt them and then Degoey kicks one from 50 in the rain.

If what? They are coaching Collingwood and they’ve won 9 in a row and are in the top 4. They may well win the whole thing.
I don't think so. Kissed on the doodle over recent games. Surely we can expect the Karma bus to flatten them some time soon.

Yet they keep winning. And we keep losing.

The excuses people are making for our poor performances this year are bemusing.

If if if if if……………..
Fair enough, but a shred of luck does come into it. I've been annoyed reading all the guff about us and where we'd be if we'd won all the close ones. Collingwood's run at the moment notwithstanding, you never win all the close ones. With a bit of luck either way they could easily be 2 less wins and us 2 more, even 1 more if you want to get really harsh.

We could easily have lost the 2020 PF if Port had a smidge more luck, I was there, the DOB could easily have not been paid. You make your own luck to a point, then a little luck can sometimes get you over the line.

If we’d kept them, if dimma had taken a pay cut, if, if , if…

They’re all hypotheticals and mean *smile*.

The Pies are given me Hawthorn in 2019 vibes. Do enough to potentially scrape into the top 4 and then out in straight sets.

It is amazing on the afl website when there is a large crowd like the Collingwood Vs Essendon today they quote the crowd number. When it is a small crowd like hawks and north they omit the crowd numbers from the match report.

Yep. We’ve lost 8 games and had a draw. In 7 of the 8 losses and the draw we were in good winning positions. If we win just 4 of those 8 games we are finals locks and likely top 4 locks. But we didn’t win any of them; not one.

It’s incredible how many games we have blown this year.
