Round 19 - Other games

Elliott embraced the moment. Jones was like Cumberland/Castagna/Balta/Aarts ect. Pies could pinch a flag still. I hope our coaches show the players the Elliott vision.

They went from a kick in to a shot on goal in 20 seconds
2 vs 1 and Elliot still marked it
Heppell is a shocking

Story of 2 teams in close games, us vs the skunks. We are a much better team than them, but they've somehow managed to find a way to win these close ones and we can't. Sickening.
Dunno about us being much better, but they prob should have lost a couple more and we prob should have won a couple more. But they didn't and we didn't.

Because we have played selfish arrogant football all season. We have completely lost our will to play for one another. Mcrae has collingwood playing exactly that..

Pies have won 5 games by 7 points or less, another two by 11 points or less.

Yep. We just keep finding ways to f*** everything up

As.noted it should have been 50 to Jones at the end. Prestia like common sense applied I guess.

We want to finish 8th and Pies 5th. We won't lose to them.

Watching the last 3 games I can not come to the conclusion that we are better than them at all. Right now we are a very average team at best and a team that continually finds ways to lose games it should win.

I wouldn’t back us against anyone at the moment; such is the mindset of our players. They are shot.

We're living in a simulation, not a doubt in my mind. You could see that unfold before it did, same with Friday night.

Landford not only missed the spoil, he tottaly missed hitting Elliot.
And Kelly was in LALA land.
2 vs 1 and he still marked it

One thing though I am loving the umpires being less likely to pay the high frees. Much better spectacles this weekend with no soft frees.

Although the rule of not paying a free against Pendlebury hasn't changed.

Elliott has always been a gun, just cruelled by injuries. Not far off Toby Greene in ability and finishing class.

He did tell a team mate he is going for goal.
He could've even kicked it backwards to run down the clock.
But 40 out directly in front should be a simple set shot.
There work after the behind was a disgrace

Luckywood has won 9 in a row since we beat them in R9.

They go up, we go down.
