Round 19 - Other games

Except, the Moggs don't need to absolutely win now, do they? A game clear and healthy percentage on Dees. Time to 'rest' some key players?

Not a chance Leon. Cats wont flirt with form. Only one game ahead and 4 games remaining. They are playing well they ain't going to lose at home to the dogs.

Normal transmission resumes. Unthinkable how badly we have destroyed our own season.

I don’t remember a side that has single-handedly sabotaged a whole year like this. Not one.

At least we have the three flags. Could have been much much worse.
Four!?!

It is amazing on the afl website when there is a large crowd like the Collingwood Vs Essendon today they quote the crowd number. When it is a small crowd like hawks and north they omit the crowd numbers from the match report.
Takes a while for it get posted at certain grounded is my observation. MCG quick? Dockland slow?

The fact is, if the umpire at 1 end of of the ground did his job properly in the last minute, and if another umpire did his job properly at the other end of the ground as the final siren blew, we wouldn’t be talking about how good Collingwood are in close games. The AFL need to explain why the 50 wasn’t paid and why the last kick wasn’t called as play on. What a joke

Definite 50. I think the kick from Elliot was ok but upon watching the replay, you could argue that Elliot played on after taking the mark.

You're probably right; Salty just makes me paranoid. Reckon his hate for us runs very deep.

Not to mention the very harsh free paid against a Druggies small in the Skunks' FL near the end. Did he get any real prior? Then shortly after "everyone's hero - don't you just love how he's an ornament to the game" Pendles gets caught at CHF, drops it, then throws it up for a team-mate to clear it, called play on.

Disgracefully inconsistent officiating again. It's not just the mess of rules; it's different calls for different players continually. Compare Nank's treatment to icons (puke) like Pendles or Duck Selwood or Shovekins.

So the Pies have won 9 on the trot.

I'd love nothing more than to see the Filth and the Scats win their remaining games and then go out of the finals in straight sets.

Gale and Livingston are culpable for the mess we find ourselves in now.

They signed Dimma up on massive dollars that cost us our decent assistants after he played up in the hub.

Now the culture is buggered, the players questioning everything he taught them around leadership and loyalty and we've let Fly and Leppa walk to the scum.

HTF can Livingston mange Dimma effectively when his job has always been to do what Dimma wants?

Moving Balmey to a backseat role has been a major f up. It was the beginning of the end for Lollingwood and similarly us too. It smacks of arrogance and no wonder we are now completely rooted.

Just saw highlights of Adam Saad playing the dashing half back strong marking defensive role that Bacher used to do for us. We really miss his drive this year.

We miss his drive from a few seasons ago. Last year Bacher was horrible. Injuries and age caught up with him!
