Bombers completely *smile* the bed Richmond style. How bad was that last play after Jones missed. Like a training run for Scumwood. And how did two Bomber players not get a spoil on Elliot’s mark. Staggering ineptitude; looked very familiar. Not to mention Stringer’s poor effort late in the middle. Had an easy 3 metre handball to a clear team mate but missed by 5 metres. A decent handball puts the ball deep in Essendon forward but instead turnover gets the ball back down Scumwood’s end.

Abysmal from both of those players. Incredulous that they could not spoil that ball.
Not even that, what on earth were Essendon doing after Jones' behind? They had all pushed up, and Collingwood just kicked it over the top of their zone with ease.
Within a goal of 1st, 4th and 6th in the last 8 games. We're a bit of an enigma atm. If we won 2 close games in the last 3 games and Pies lost 2 close games in the last 3 games and we'd be above them right now. It's just 1 of those seasons.
How was that not a50 after the last free. The ump had blown the Whistle. Everyone in the stadium knew it was holding the ball, and the Pie kicked it away. I'm not sure what I am missing?

Yep Fly has inserted some real Richmond premiership era steel into that Collingwood side. They are the anti Richmond. They are never dead and they kick goals when they need to be kicked. Look at Elliott; 40m out on the boundary after the siren. Never looked like missing.
Yet we miss from 20m out dead in front on numerous occasions and lose to GC and North. Or our players can’t beat the countdown clock and we blow the Freo game.
You could not possibly make this *smile* up. My head is still spinning from the way we have blown games 3 weeks in a row.
Fact is their wins are nowhere as convincing as ours were. They are just robbing a seat in the 8 and now top 4.
Can't believe I am saying this but I would rather see Collingwood win the flag than Geelong. And I hate Collingwood!
Yet they keep winning. And we keep losing.
The excuses people are making for our poor performances this year are bemusing.
