Round 19 - Other games

Except, the Moggs don't need to absolutely win now, do they? A game clear and healthy percentage on Dees. Time to 'rest' some key players?
Yep. Have no doubt that now Salty has a nice buffer he will manipulate it to his advantage. He will do all he can to ensure we don't make the finals. Of course we have done most of the work for him but he'll still want to make doubly sure we are not there.

Plenty said that about us in 2017 as well Jazz. In fact most pundits predicted a straight sets exit when we finished 3rd.

The Pies have beaten most other teams in the 8. It's wide open and they are a chance. The rest of them aren't that good either.
The only difference is we didn’t consistently pull wins out of our arses and as a consequence, our form was sustainable and likely to stand up in finals.

They will have a straight sets exit. Bookmark it

This week's game against the Dogs at their home will be interesting.

We struggle to win 2
I'm saying 1 out of the last 4.
Season ended in 8 minutes. When lynch held the Viking's arm.
17 points up and we still lose..fken unbelievable
Yep that game ended our season just as the West C one last year did. Weak minds and weak leadership

Thats our depth just sitting there. - apart from Ellis, they were all depth players at the end of their time at the tigers - just shows how strong we were at our peak.

Don't agree with that for me our last 3 games ended our season even after cats game we we're still in strong contention to make top 4 , 40 points up against sun's blew that and then loose to a spoon side that gets belted weekly and then against Fremantle brain fades again in the last minute they cost us.

Are you serious. Scott is singing
We have lost to Adelaide, North GC and Stkilda.
We deserve priority pick.

I don't think so. Kissed on the doodle over recent games.
Well I guess if you hang the doodle out often enough in Colonwood ya can always find someone to kiss it for ya. Unless of course ya keep shittin your pants beforehand like we keep doin.

9 in a row.
i know in 19 we got on a roll…
but I sense heartache is just around the corner for the pies.

And got not much back in return. Lot of hubris with ‘culture’ etc… we were too accomodating and nice. It’s cost us.

Fken oath.
Kelly leaves Geelong they get 23 1st round picks.
Wellingham gets Collingwood a 1st rounde.
Beams the Bookie gets Brisbane 2 1st rounders.
Sheild FFS got GWS 2 1st rounders.
The AFL bent us over with Ellis. 25 yr old in his prime for a late 2nd rounder.
Bulter was worthy of a pick between 15-25
Chol 30-40
Markov & Higgins 2 packs of Winfield Golds

Yeah nah. Butler is the only one that pisses me off, and that's not because of how we played it, its because nobody rated him, and by association us. I said it at the time, there should have been a bidding war and we should have got an early 2nd round. Carlton courted him then dumped him, Saints were last chance saloon. Madness.

And don't go putting the culture in quotes to dismiss it, it was real. It might have changed now, and even if it was a figment of everyone's imagination, it was critical to us winning 3 flags. And you can't have one without the other, you can't be all Dalai Lama in house, the go all GR/ Dodoro when a players want to leave or we sack them. It doesn't work like that.
