Gotta love those highlights packages. Never seen a single dud in any of them ;D.
If he's got the talent as people say he has, then the only question will be whether we have the ability to develop his personality into the public AFL structure.
So far we've struggled to get the slightly difficult ones up to scratch, we just haven't gained a win in recent years.

No idea Spook. After Lachie Whitfield it could go ten different ways. Garlett, could go at 4. Could be there at 29. Unlikely but could.

I will say he is one of very few in this draft who could have a 10 minute spell and change or win a game.

Is that because like Rioli he's only capable of playing the game in 10min bursts ?

We should only consider Garlett with our 2nd or 3rd picks - we aren't in a position to take risky picks early. Can't see him getting past Collingwood's 1st pick if he lasts that far.

Joking. Remember Jack Darling. Go Hard i say. exactly what we need. I'd take him first up because otherwise he won't be there. Be bold.

He is one slick package Garlett. Surely they'd be tempted. It wouldn't surprise me if they've already made up their minds on Vlastuin, the hard at it more reliable type. Mmm. We need a match winner though. Or 4.

Should have been snapped up in the mini-draft last year IMO. Would happily take him at 9 but I think the club will go with Vlastuin the more 'safe' option.

Agree. Think we will go Vlaustin or Wines at 9 if we still have this pick at draft time.

Real shame Toumpas will go to the Dogs. IMO he will be the player of the draft.

Toumpas wont get near the dogs - they don't pick till 5. He'll go at 2. As for Garlett - no thanks. Nothing like Jack Darling - very different issues.

Watch this space. Dogs into Toumpas hard. Might try and better their position in the draft maybe via trade?

From what I know he will go no later than pick 4. The Dogs are into Martin in a big way and they won't try and move up the order for Toumpas but like all teams they would love to get him.

Even with the doubts on some of his character traits he shouldn't slide outside of the top 10.

I'm starting to come around to your thinking. The last two drafts we have gone with the foot soldier type at our first pick. This draft is apparently deeper with such players. Let's go the jet this time at our first.

We are starting to get a little too 1 paced & Vanilla - Garlett will provide that spark !

But what impresses me the most about him is that unlike most indigenous boys, he actually has a good inside game aswell as speed and poise
