Pick 63, 2017 Ben Miller - Welcome to Tigerland.

Ben’s good value for money, especially when you compare him to the $1.3m Ben McKay, about $1m cheaper anyway:

Look at Ben Mckay's time on ground! Doesnt leave until its lights out and time to go home.

For Miller more marks will equal more intercepts. The next step for Funky

I think you’re looking at McKay for those 2 stats.

Another good performance from Miller. 12 marks!!! We need more players to do this. Great to see this upside.

He was ok.
Made some really Johnny Manton type mistakes.
He got caught holding it.
He tackled high when the bounce screwed him.
But he needs to hurt the opposition when jumping. He jumps with straight legs.
Bend the legs and hit with the knee.
Have a look at Moore

Clearly the most improved at the club , always been a beautiful kick of the footy , it’s been a very long apprenticeship, however is now a lock in the back 6 which is a great credit to him . He always looked very good in the back half in the VFL , the one thing that I admire BM most with is attack on man and ball , though he will never be Rance like , he’s lifted himself to where an AFL key defender must be …. Not many seats left on Bennys Bus

On a point of order, the bus was a Gus Bus from Baloo I think and I started the Ben's bandwagon a few weeks ago! Still some room though!

Agree and reckon the key is that both Miller and Balta must play together in the backline
They just complement each other nicely

I think the entire Back half plays better with Balta back , who wouldn’t with a player who backs himself to take the saving mark.

Just on the Balta back or forward , I agree his “ potentially” our best key forward besides Lynch , however he has zilch competition and unlike the backline I actually think he’d be a nightmare to play beside forward .

With Millers improvement I’m actually leaning towards Gibbo been part of our key forward team going into 2026 , imho he has the footy IQ to be part of a premiership forward unit

What would you know about playing forward?

What would you know about playing forward?
Apparently plenty.
Leads quickly from the back line (of the queue), gets forward with speed (to the counter) passes with authority and accuracy (when theres a large order) and hits the target repeatedly (tapping the eftpos machine) at the kfc outlets where he is a life member.

Don't worry Mr B. We know your skill set, some others don’t appreciate what it takes to get there 😁
