Pick 53: Jack Graham

Re-signing this broken tractor for another 4 years, especially when we could actually get something decent for him, would be an absurd decision.

Matt Clarke might lure Graham, Baker and Mini as new coach. Richmond DNA in the north and the west.
Steven King from Geelong is apparently the unbackable favourite for the West Coast job according to Will SChofield on Fox Footy.

Two shepparton senior coaches out of 18 wow

The leadership and cultural IP Graham has is another intangible. Not many of those types left with all the other departures.
This is the thing we punters can't judge. We don't know how important (or otherwise) individual players are at the club in terms of their leadership

We are playing the game and making sure the compo pick we get is straight after our 2nd pick.

Another nuance is that if we’re actually targeting a free/restricted agent ourselves, we’d lose the compensation pick we got for Graham so perhaps something is in play?

I think the AFL has a secret spices ingredient where you get a total impact from FA minus total benefits from FA = compensation.
So we might be in line to get pick 20, but have it downgraded or removed depending on who we sign back.

As important as winning only two games. Seriously this is an overused line in football. The guy offers us nothing and we can now cash in on him so let's hope we don't *smile* it up.

I didn’t say he offered anything or that he did. I simply said we don’t know the leadership qualities of individual players at the club. I also didn’t say we should keep him, in fact I said earlier I would be leaning towards letting him go.

But unless you are a closet Richmond player posting on a fan site you don’t know what Jack or any other player offers in terms of leadership around the club.

If you want to see what a club with lots of talented young players with not enough senior leaders looks like have a look at the suns and giants when they first started. Imo we need to make sure we have enough senior players around.

WHO CARES As it means jack *smile* from results shown. We need better leaders and it's time to start finding them. Stop making up a crap story as you're as right as i am except i have evidence from results.

We have Nakkers, Dion, TT, Hopper , Flossy, Broad and a few others left and with them and RIOLI BAKER BOLTON we still only won 2 games. Cut the nonsense out. as 2010 we had nowhere near the leaders.

All I said is we don’t know who the leaders are and if Jack is one of them.
Clearly you have a special knowledge of the inner sanctum so I will bow to your superior knowledge.
Lol

Seriously mate neither do you and of the leadership witnessed this year Jack clearly wasn't a leader. Results can only improve if we can offload him as leadership if he has as your suggesting is underdone by his rubbish level of football.. If he offered so much leadership wouldn't the club make a massive offer to keep him? Instead they're negotiating to *smile* him off. As i stated you guess is good as mine, but evidence suggests he's not valued for leadership and it's just another figment of your imagination.

you clearly have a comprehension problem.

I didn’t say anything about Jack’s leadership except to say none of us outside the club know what the leadership offered by individual players really is.

Seriously, you would argue with a shadow
