Nankervis !!

Im with others i love seeing a big bloke play with desperation and desire, with the best being the element to throw their big frame around and Hurt, as long as its controlled and doesn't sit him out for weeks with suspensions.

Young bloke who i would have in R1 due to Hammer being a pitiful AFL player, only going to get better over the next few years.

I think it should be a mandatory requirement for a ruckman. The Hammer/Griffo/Vickery combinations of the last couple of years has been woeful to watch in this area.

From RFC post..."Nankervis is impressed with the vibe at Punt Road in the lead-up to the 2017 season . . . ". Someone else who enjoyed The Castle!

From the first half of the JLT it looks like Nanks was a good get. He has something
Yep, moves like a footy player not a non footy player ...not looking at you Hampy.....

Yeah like him. He's strong, good in the ruck and takes a pretty good mark. Kicking needs a bit of work, but it does for most ruckmen.

It has been interesting that he has been able to shift Jacobs in mid-air enough on an even bounce to win a tap even though he gives up at least 5 cm reach on him.
Also, his first couple of steps after the bounce are elite for a ruckmen.

Just what we need.

A ruckman who can actually have an impact around the ground.

A good age and still room for plenty of improvement.
