McLachlan and Hocking must resign!

See Goose McLachlan is putting it out there that he was headhunted for the Liverpool FC CEO job but knocked it back, he is such a humble bloke! We're so lucky to have him. :p

Was he on the grog last night?,(talking footy) he seemed to blur his words and was a bit all over the shop. Especially when answering basic questions about score reviews and also about the introduction of a red card system.
I don't think he is the best bloke to run the Afl

I'm a fan of Warnie, but jeez can be a fuckhead.

Not involved at any level? He holds the No.1 ticket at the reigning premiers doesnt he?

and to call Waleed a cretin is about as accurate as calling Shane an intellectual giant.

To be fair on Shane, he called Waleed a "cretan", not a "cretin"

Pretty sure Waleed's criticism of Warnie's foundation was spot on, most of the dough was being spent on admin, appointed a mate or relative to a high paid position, might have been more than one I can't recall the specifics, and I think it ended up being wound up. Warnie's motivation is pretty transparent, and disappointing.

It was spot on. Think family members were on the payroll, lavish events were held, and the percentage of income actually donated to charity was very low compared to other foundations.

There's actually very few of those fund raising foundations donate much more than about 5 or 6 % of revenue raised to the cause they're fund raising for. Massive shekels get generated but most of it goes to fees n charges for the fundraising event / function n staff to provide the entity to run the foundation. The E.J. Whitten game, Movember, Warnies, they're all started with wonderful intentions but the costs involved in running n promoting n managing these things chews up nearly all the money raised.

Movember? They are pretty good with over 75% of what's raised being given to the programs they support.

Well his complexion is kinda swarthy and could be mistaken for a Greek's.

Hocking says "We don’t want to offend the fans. They have called out congestion, number 1, and they have called out defensive tactics, number 2."

Crowds are at their highest levels since pre-Gold Coast. Nobody is calling for changes except the TV networks. Don't *smile*in' lie, Steve.

Every single year without fail the finals ticketing sale process craps itself!!!!

Yet does anyone do anything to fix it?????

Yes but we need to change the rules of the game because, because.... it doesn’t look good!!

What a complete bunch of incompetent d...heads these Afl people are.

State of the ticketing for finals committee is needed. Where are you, Steve Hocking?

Too busy trying to fix a game that AIN"T broken!

So let’s get some things straight.

We have a goal review system that is a complete farce

We have a match review and tribunal system filled with inconsistencies

Fixturing issues

Afl executives who instead of getting sacked never to be seen again (Lethlean) get senior positions at an Afl club

A finals ticketing fiasco every September

Etc, etc, etc

Yet the onfield game needs fixing first and foremost!!!

Fix what needs fixing you morons, FFS!!!

And AFL execs who can quite easily call potato head Dutton and arrange a visa for their au pair.

Self interest always wins.

Hey, in Dutton's defence ... granting the visa "discretionary and humanitarian act" for someone with "ongoing needs" and that the decision was in the "interests of Australia as a humane and generous society".

Now we know what is happening with all the cash they make from fines.
